Kakashi and I left as soon as the others were gone, locking the door behind us. I happily nibbled on the little cone that was left, trying to fit my feet into my boots.
Kakashi chuckled watching me struggle. He put his bag down and got down on one knee.
"Here, Ina let me do it." He offered, directing his gaze towards my shoes.
"Oh My God, are you proposing Mr. Hatake?" I joked, adding a little dramatic gasp.
"Shhh, sit on my knee Ina." He demanded, patting on his knee.
"Geez, I was joking Kashi!"
I did as he said and he carefully placed the shoe on my foot. Cinderella much?.
His touch felt as gentle as a feather which gave me goosebumps.
"It's snowing and cold, why are you wearing a skirt?". He asked, getting up.
"Kure gave me this outfit, and I love wearing the skirt. I'm wearing one after a long time!"
"Well, we gotta get you some warmer clothes I guess." He said, ruffling my hair.
I nod and swing my bag, attempting to land it on my back, but the other strap hooks onto the bulb above. Kakashi laughs, his hand on his stomach, which makes me giggle a little.
If I'll pull on it, the bulb will break.
"Help me?" I asked, looking stupid yet again.
He stood beside me and instead of taking it off, he picked me up and made me sit on his right shoulder, his hand firmly around my waist.
I suddenly got a tingly feeling all over my body as I looked at his face with wide eyes.
"Get it"
He simply said, his grip on me tightening. Kakashi Hatake, stop doing things like this unless you want to lead me on..
Ignoring the tingly feeling, I reached up and grabbed my bag and gave him the signal to let me down.
"Nope, you're staying like this."
"W-what? No, Kakashi put me down."
"Nuh uh. You and your clumsy feet are going to fall right into the snow pit, so no."
"Oh come on, that was one time, I was busy with my phone!"
"Is that so? Very well then"
He put me down, with a smug look on his face.
"Let's see how far you go before you're on the back of this handsome ninja again." He said with a cocky grin.
"Handsome? As if." I said, teasing him.
He leaned in with his hands in his pockets
"So were you admiring my ugliness in bed this morning? I'm sure somebody was about to drool." He said teasingly, winking and taking my bag from me, walking ahead.
It sounded so wrong the way he mentioned it, but I was liking it.
"I can carry my own bag, you know?"
"Just focus on carrying yourself, Yuki." He chuckles.
That punk, so slick with his words as always. How does he go from caring to cocky in seconds?
Sometimes I wanna punch him in the gut but sometimes I just wanna-
"Oi watch the stairs-"
"What-"
I slipped on the icy stairs, tumbling all the way down as my knee crashed against the last step, my face planting into the pit of snow.
"Ina! Are you okay?" Kakashi asked, pulling me up and into his arms, looking for any injury or scratches. He dusted the snow off of me.
He took off his glove with his teeth and put his warm hand on my face.
"M-my knee hurts Kashi." He looks at my scraped and bleeding knee in worry, as he pulled me closer.
"I have to take you to the hospital, gosh why are you so clumsy-"
It made me laugh a little at how exaggerated his actions were. I found it quite cute though.
"I'm a medical ninja Mr. Hatake, did you forget?"
He looked at me dumbfounded, but quickly masked it with his usual unbothered expression.
"Right Miss Namikaze, tend to your wound then, we don't have all day to shop. I'm taking you somewhere." He said, pulling out his icha icha book again.
"What? Where?"
"You'll know when we get there, hurry up, come on". He said, crouching down and turning around, signaling me to take the support of his back.
I quickly rested my back against his, placing my palms above my scraped knee as a green chakra glow appeared, closing the wound.
"All done! Let's go-"
"Come here"
He said, suddenly turning around and pulling me onto his lap.
I gasped a little. The feeling of me fitting perfectly in his lap, his arm wrapped protectively around my belly and his warm breath tickling my ears sent a flush of excitement all over my body.
He was aware of it too I guess because he started rubbing circles on my skirt with his thumb. My grip tightened on the fabric of his pants and I felt something poking me...
Oh. My. God. What is happening, what are we doing!
His thumb came in contact with the bare skin of my thigh and I yelped a little due to the feeling it gave me.
"Shh, let me just wipe the blood off your knee. Don't look at it." He said, holding my thigh closer.
Right, blood... I'm not as haemophilic as lady tsunade used to be, but.. looking at blood brought back some very unpleasant memories..
Kakashi knows it, he remembers
As he was wiping my blood away, I shut my eyes and leaned my head back in the crook of his neck.
