I quickly finished the food without waiting to feel its taste and Kakashi put the tray away as he sat on the bed.

That's when I remembered the mufflers I had brought with me.

"Kakashi, can you pass me my bag?"

"What for?" He asked, and arched his eyebrow at me.

"Just give it to me, it's a surprise for all of you!" I exclaimed, excitedly.

I took out five of the small rolled up gift bags and handed them out to each of them.

"Mufflers? Wait, they're all the same?" Kakashi asks me.

"Yup! I wanted to get matching ones for all of us. Consider it as a token of appreciation from me!"

"Why are you so adorable.." I heard Kakashi whisper but thankfully nobody else caught it. I blushed, and he took out my muffler from the bag and wrapped it around my neck.

Everybody thanked me. Sakura and Kakashi were happy wearing it, Sai still had the same face, Sasuke was embarrassed but wore it.

And Naruto.. well he was going around flexing about it to the building staff. He's just like Ma..

"Okay! Ready to go team?" Kakashi said, strapping his bag in the front.

We all got up, and Naruto carried my bag. My right hand was holding onto Kakashi's arm for support as I walked.

We greeted the Raikage, and said our goodbyes. The land was entirely covered in snow since a few days, as the guards informed us.

So we were all flying on the back of Sai's ink beast eagle until we crossed the land of lightning.

We got down and traveled on foot, as Kakashi carried me on his back till we decided to stop for two hours and rest.

We had gotten bento boxes for ourselves before leaving, so we were enjoying our meal by the fire which was keeping us warm.

I had a sling around my neck now and my left arm was held by it, so it wasn't comfortable eating with one hand anymore.

So, you know who fed me right?

Wrong.. Sakura was unfortunately helping me eat while Kakashi had to eat his own meal. Being secretive was testing my patience.

Sasuke and Sai had set traps, but we decided that nobody would be patrolling, and that it was better for all of us to stay together. Instead of tents we were sleeping in the open, in our sleeping bags.

Everyone except Kakashi was sound asleep, and since I slept on the way on kakashi's back, I was wide awake.

I went and sat next to him, but he suddenly picked me up and took us to a thick tree branch.

Was he a monkey in his past life? He sure loves sitting on trees.

He gently placed me on a more leveled and smooth part of the bark, and sat down next to me, holding me by my waist.

"This feels like deja vu.. except, I have a broken arm". I said, and he chuckled in response.

I rested my head sideways on his chest, and he put his cheek on it. He was slowly rubbing my back and I was loving the warmth it gave me. I felt so cozy in his arms.. he was my comfort place.

"Everybody was around you the whole time today.. I did not get any chance to kiss you" He looked at me and pulled down his mask.

I looked up and blushed at the sight of his handsome face, and a charming smile plastered onto it.

He leaned down, and pulled me into a magical deep kiss. The kind of kiss that you would wish to never end. We didn't make any attempt to pull back from it, because both of us were craving for the love..
