"W-what?... "

My mom took a deep breath.. I could hear her sobbing. She spoke,

"You need to come, fast.. "

With that she hung up the call, leaving me full of shock..

I felt my heart heavy and put the phone down... Well, it's not like I had a great relationship with grandfather but.. Somehow it makes me sorrowful.

Grandfather... Is dead?.. How am I supposed to believe that...

Eventually, my eyes filled up with tears without my realization. I managed to wipe them off and got up from my seat.

The funeral room was filled with the fragrance of many flowers. Only the sounds of people sobbing and crying were reflecting through the large area...

I was standing right in front of the wooden coffin of my grandfather..

I don't know how am I feeling right now.. Even I myself wasn't sure about the feeling of this sudden loss..

My dad and my uncle were standing by the side of the coffin. My dad with his hands placed up on the coffin left uncountable tears on it..

My I uncle was also crying while patting my dad's back.

My dad spoke while crying,

"Why did father had to kill that filthy creature?!... They didn't even let him lead his paralyzed state in peace! "

"It's not his fault.. He did his job.. "- my uncle spoke still patting.

What do they mean?.. Grandfather was... killed?

Well it wasn't the right time to ask them about it so I decided not ask them about it.

The thought of my grandfather being 'killed' by someone  broke my heart... I slowly headed to the other side of the funeral area..

I overheard some gossips of some random relatives.

" Hey, he was found dead in his room"

"Hmm, I also heard that.. His state was too pitiful.. "

"I heard that the vampires killed him"

"Oh, me too.! The Royal vampires! "

"Once he killed a vampire woman who belonged to the Royal vampire family.. Since then, he was cursed. "

"Yes, they also cursed his family, right?"

"Well, I'm not sure about that. "

"Well, having scratches all over the body is not a normal death at all. "

I moved away from there cause these words ruined my mood even more.. What nonsense are they talking about??.. Huh.. Silly.. But.. What did they say about 'having scratches all over the body'?...

Grandfather was found dead with scratches on his body?..

That's kinda suspicious.. Maybe any of our enemies murdered him?... Since grandfather ran a big business industry under his name... He must have few enemies..
