TWENTY-EIGHT

"You alright?"

- Soobin asked still having the tight grip on both of my shoulders.

His eyes were full desperate, staring deeply in my eyes.

I cleared my throat realizing the awkward silence accompanying us.

"I'm fine, thanks"

He removed his hands once after hearing me out and looked away for a bit.

"Were you here all the time? "- I asked.

Shit.. What kind of question is that?.. Was I too out of idea to ask?.. Ugh..

He fixed his eyes on me once again before replying,

"I entered here hearing the shouts... And saw that you were about to dump your head "

- he spoke the last two words while tapping his index lightly on my head.

"Oh, well it wasn't my fault to-"- I was cut off.

" Don't need to be ashamed, it's okay "- he giggled..

" Hey! It isn't like that! "

He smiled, reveling his dimples which I really adore to see.

Gosh, he's such an angel...

Wait,wait,wait... Angel?.. My foot! He's not even a human, right?

Soobin looked at me with his eyes a little wider than usual, expressing a shocked reaction.

"You.. Know about it?.. "- he finally asked once he was done staring at me with his curiosity.

Shit.. Why did I had to think that?.. I forgot they can read minds... Aish..

"Am.. Yes, I mean no, I actually.. yesterday....Yeonjun.."

- I said while pausing at least 5 or 6 times.

"So he told you everything?"- he was back to his normal smiley face.

I bit my lower lip, processing what to say now...

Oh, should I ask him what he is? Since Yeonjun mentioned them not being humans.

Vampire? Werewolf? Alien? Goblin? Spirit? Ghost? Demon? Jinn? Or something else?

Soobin burst out laughing and held his stomach while laughing.

I kept staring at him like an idiot... Gosh.. Why do I forget? He can  also read minds, right?

" Gosh, stop it! I'll die laughing! "- he managed to say inside his laughter.

Exhaling sharply, I fixed my eyes on the ground, not being sure to what to do or what to say.

He finally came down and spoke,

"Let's grab a drink and I'll explain you since you know almost half of the thing.. "

I nodded positively, cause why not? I'm obviously interested to know about the creatures I used to disbelieve.

"So, first of all, I'm also a vampire. Not any goblin, spirit or werewolf, okay?"

- Soobin said while talking a small sip on his cold coffee.

Playing with my straw on my drink, I remained silent in response.

"And You saw Taehyun, Huening Kai, Beomgyu.. They are also vampires.."

He continued,

"There are different kinds of vampires as Yeonjun has already said you"

Then, the story of Yeonjun's parents popped up in my mind.

"Can you tell me about Yeonjun's family? "

"Well, he's the only child on the family.. His father belonged to the royal vampire family and on the contrary,his mother was from the dark vampire family. "

Soobin's tone got less loud as he kept speaking,

"As the dark vampires were the nemesis of the royals, It was hard for Yeonjun's parents to make till the end. "

"Yeonjun's father was told to kill Yeonjun's mother by the royals since the dark vampires were their enemies ... But Yeonjun's father ended up falling for her. "

"Maybe the fate which was already planned, made them end up with each other"- he spoke with a small smile.

Soobin continued as I eagerly kept listening.

"They fell in love with each other and went through many problems together...but still,they never left  one another's side...Everything was smooth..They had Yeonjun after some years of their marriage....But.. "

Soobin paused for a bit which made me look at him with the curiosity of wanting to know more.

"What happened next? "-I asked.

"Yeonjun's mother got killed by some hunters."-  Soobin spoke darkly.

I don't know why but I got goosebumps after hearing him.. Like what?.. Yeonjun's mother was killed?... By a Damn hunter?..

That's just..

Wait...

I have a bad feeling about this...

Instantly an image of My grandfather flashed in mind...
