Niku: Not matter, they're gonna lose anyway.
Mallow: Miss Mina! And there's Kahili, too! Everyone in here is our opponent...
Lillie: And someone in here will be our first champion!
Kiawe: I'm gonna win my way up the ranks, for sure!
Ash: Me, too!
Acerola: So am I!
Everyone but Niku was surprised to see Acerola.
Niku: Acerola.
Acerola: I brought Uncle Nanu, and figured I'd sign up while I was here. It looked like fun, right, Mimikins?
Ash: Trainers have come here from all over Alola, huh?
Kukui once again proceeded to walk up and take the stage, speaking to everyone.
Kukui: Alola!
Everyone: Alola!
Kukui: I can't tell you how grateful I am to see so many competitors gathered here at Manalo Stadium! I hereby declare the Alola League open! It's time to Shift Gears! Give us a full power Explosion!
Once leaving the stage, the announcer began to announce, along with the referee.

Caster: It's the Alola Pokémon League preliminary Battle Royal! I, Caster will be the referee. It's almost time to begin. The Judges will be Hala, Olivia, Nanu and Hapu. Now, please turn your attention to the screen.
