NEXT DAY AFTERNOON
"Did everyone get that, before I move on to the next slide." The professor, Mrs.Lynn, Turned around to face the class. As 'mhms' and 'yeahs' were thrown out in response.
She nodded once and clicked the mouse on her keyboard as the next slide appeared on the projected screen.
I looked up at the board and down at my computer back and forth copying the notes. I was too lazy to write them down so typing was the next best thing. I would take a picture but I wanted to take notes on what she was saying as well.
She talking to fast, I already couldn't even keep up with the introductions. I'm currently in my 'Environmental science' lecture, This class is required for the field I wanna work in. If it wasn't I would not be taking this class.
"If you did not get all of that, I will be posting the whole powerpoint google classroom." She announced, which made my blood boil. I'm over here on the verge of a mental breakdown tryna take these notes, and she was gone post 'em whole time? Like why not start with that!
I'm glad this is my last class of the day.
45 minutes had went by and we were just now finishing up. "Okay well that's all, you guys are dismissed."
Teachers be eating with that one not gone lie.
"God is good! amen to that." I muttered lowly packing up my things and heading towards the exit.
I need to go practice on my sketches, I haven't really been drawing much. I'm majoring in architecture and drawing is a big part of that, I'm just glad I was blessed with skills.
"Ryan!" I heard my name being called from a distance and looked around in confusion, before my eyes landed on a classmate of mine.
"Hey girl, I was wondering if that was you." Ariana spoke walking towards me, I met her halfway.
"Oh hey, I was wondering who was calling me." I chucked slightly, wondering why she even called me over.
"I didn't see you in there, you must've been in the back. But did you get the notes? I wasn't really paying attention." She responded.
"Mhm, I have the longer version of the notes though. If you want the short version she did say that she'd be uploading the whole slideshow, on google classroom." I mentioned giving her a tight lipped smile.
