Another flash engulfed them as the Delorean alongside the trio of boys were now back in 1955, gently gliding down to the park behind the Lyon Estates billboard, which ironically enough was where Jamie and Marty had originally parked it from the night they accidentally traveled back in time to 1955, now they were back with a mission to accomplish.
"Oh, this is heavy Doc," Marty said, exiting the car first before Jamie could. "I mean, it's just like we were here yesterday,"
"You were here yesterday, Marty, you were! And you too Jamie," Doc pointed out.
"Man it's just like one day we were in 1985, next thing you know we accidentally stumbled into 1955, then we made it back to 1985, seconds later we ended up in the future, went back to 1985, and all of the sudden we end up back here, whew that's just a lot to process" Jamie ambled nervously but also astonished by how quick everything has happened in a span of a week.
"I know, amazing isn't it, Jamie?" Doc said. They walked out from behind the board when no cars appeared to be around given the
"Alright, sunrise should be in about 22 minutes," Doc checked his watch before rushing back to the car. The teens followed behind him trying to match the hyper energy he has.
"You two go into town, track down the old biff, and tail him," Doc explained, pulling a plastic bag out of the car before continuing. "Sometime today, old Biff will show up to give young Biff the Almanac. Above all you must not interfere with that event, we must let the old Biff believe he succeeded so that he'll leave 1955 and bring the Delorean back to the future,"
"Right," Marty nodded. Jamie snapped his fingers next to his forehead to click in the instructions, "Check,"
"Once old Biff is gone, grab the almanac any way that you can. Remember both of our futures depend on this," Doc explained. Not knowing that an issue was among them regarding Jamie beginning to fade out of existence unless they could think fast on that subject when brought up.
"Don't have to remind me of that Doc," Marty said, rubbing his arms from the chilly weather.
"Here's some binoculars, and a walky-talky so we can keep in contact," Doc handed both pairs to Marty who took one of the radios out.
"I'll stay here and try to repair the short in the time circuit," Doc grabbed a briefcase out of the car before walking away with the two following behind. "That way, we don't risk anyone else stealing the time machine, and I won't risk running into my other self,"
"Your other self?" Marty questioned. "Like the younger version of you?" Jamie asked as they all were now standing in the middle of the road
"Yes, there are now two of me here, and there are two of you both here," Doc explained, confusing the teens again. Doc began running up the street making the two chase after him baffled.
