"Click!"
An Alarm clock was blaring out loud as a hand from under the covers shut it off. Jamie Foxson groaned and yawn before rubbing his tired face and began to get out of bed when all of the sudden he heard the phone in his room ring which caused him to pick it up.
"Uh, Hello," Jamie exhaustedly spoke to whoever was on the line. Only to then hear the voice of the crazy scientist himself, Doc Brown.
"Jamie, is that you?" Doc's voice called to him on the line.
"Yes Doc, it's me. What's up?" Jamie yawned which woke himself little as he checked the time.
"Thank god I found you". Jamie heard Doc sigh in relief. He continued, "Listen, I haven't been able to get in touch with Marty but can you both meet me at Twin Pines Mall tonight at 1:15?"
"1:15 in the morning? Doc what's going on?" Jamie began getting more curious when Doc kept explaining while Jamie jotted down everything in his head. "I've made a major breakthrough, I'll need not just Marty's, but your assistance as well for tonight."
"Alright, 1:15 A.M. at Twin Pines Mall got it". Jamie said to himself, "Say where've you been all week, Doc? Marty was trying to get a hold of you but to no answer?"
"Working, I've been actually trying to get in contact with Marty this morning, but he wouldn't pick up. I figured he might be stopping over at my place which reminds me I should warn him not to hook up some of my equipment to the amplifier in case I left it on. There's a slight possibility for overload. If I don't get anything from him, remind him for me, please, it's urgent!" Doc stated.
"Alright I got you Doc,"
"Jamie, are you awake?" Jamie heard the voice of his dad calling out to him.
"Dad's calling me over. Gotta go Doc, I'll see you soon." He said as he hung up and made his way out of his room to begin his morning routine. "I'm awake dad."
After getting ready, he then makes his way downstairs with his backpack and roller skates in hand. As his socked feet padded down the stairway, he was greeted by his parents, Aiden and Amy Foxson.
"Morning Kiddo," his father greeted him positively with a bright smile on his face. He was in the kitchen wearing a "Kiss the Cook" apron preparing a breakfast meal for himself.
"Morning dad" Jamie returned with a genuine smile as he noticed his mother was at the dining table in her nursing uniform eating her meal for the morning.
"Morning mom"
"Morning sweetie," Amy said looking up to him with a smile before going back to her meal. Jamie sat at the table with her and began to dig in on his plate of waffles cooked by his father.
"So, anything you have planned for this weekend? Halloween is coming up next week!" Amy asked catching his son's attention. Jamie just twirled his fork before sighing
"Not really, Marty is taking Jennifer to the lake tomorrow, so that should be exciting for them. Meanwhile I got a test to study," he said, not to pleasant he has to spend another week by himself.
