Just seconds later, Marty found himself on stage in the gymnasium with a guitar in hand, strumming the chords in tune to the song "Earth Angel". Jamie was watching through the stage's wings, taking a peek at the crowd and Marty occasionally making sure he didn't blow his cover if necessary.

"This is for all you lovers out there," Marvin said to the microphone as he began singing the song. Jamie poked his head out again as both he and Marty watched across the room over to where Lorraine and George were dancing together.

Marty was very focused at the moment. But when Marty took a look at the picture that he placed on the tuning pegs, his sister was now gone, and he was the only one left in the frame. His fear began rising in him right as he looked back to see Geroge and Lorraine dancing. He could tell George was nervous since this was his first-time dancing with a girl, and he was unsure if he should kiss her or not. But right before he could make a move. A boy began taking Lorraine away forcefully from him .

Marty's arm felt off as he struggled to the point he began to play out of tune. He felt disoriented and he began sinking to the floor. Jamie quickly rushed over to try to pick him up to his feet but to no avail.

"Marty, listen you can't give up now, what's happening?" Jamie spoke silently; his fear was beginning to rise on the matter when Marty gave him a fearful glance.

"I can't play!" was all Marty could say. Both boys looked at the photo and saw that Marty was beginning to disappear from the picture fast. Jamie tried positioning Marty's hand back into position with the guitar. But his eyes widened once he saw and felt his hand go through Marty's. He was beginning to disappear. The boys then looked at each other scared that this might in fact be goodbye for good.

"Jamie, I'm sorry," Marty breathed out, closing his eyes. Jamie was trying his best not to get teary-eyed seeing the person who had been with his whole life prepared to go. 

"No, please you can't go. You can do this just don't give up," Jamie pleaded to him while holding him tight around his waist. Letting one tear fall, he felt weak, he felt hopeless, and he might now feel alone without him.

He looked over across the dance floor and saw George bravely push the boy onto the floor off Lorraine. He began touching her neck and brought her close to his face which led them to kiss on the dance floor like it was meant to be.

Marty sprung up off the floor surprised but was back to playing the chords on tune. He checked the picture to see him, Linda, and Dave reappear in the photo. Marty smiled brightly from the fact their mission was complete and they fixed his relationship with his parents and the timeline in general. He looked over across the room to the back of Lorraine and face of George who wrapped his arms around her. George gave him a wave as Marty wiggled his fingers making sure they were back in place.

Jamie got up to his feet, sighing in relief that Marty was okay. Marty looked to him not breaking his smile which Jamie returned in favor. Jamie went back to hiding in the wings but not before taking a glance across the dance floor to see his father and mother, dancing in the middle of the floor, not taking their eyes off of each other as they shared a passionate kiss that would mean the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. He felt joy from the sigh before heading back into the wings as Marvin finished up the last lyrics of the song.

"I'm just a fool. A fool in love with you,"

The band received applause from the audience. Marty removed the guitar from himself, took the picture, and placed it in his pockets. He looked back to Jamie who was giving him a thumbs up and mouthing. "Great job, Pretty boy,"
