Chapter 13

It was only just a flash while they were in the air as the trio saw themselves heading straight toward what seemed to be a flying car. Marty and Jamie screamed before Doc narrowly avoided the car to avoid a collision.

"What the hell was that?' Marty asked clutching onto Jamie who held him tight.

"Taxicab," Doc replied steering the car through the air.

"Taxicab? I thought we were flying?" Jamie said, looking over to Marty who was sharing the same confused look he had. "Precisely"

"Alright, Doc what's going on huh? Where are we? When are we?" Marty asked. He and Jamie were looking through the windows of the car. It was raining, and dark, it looked like they were going through the clouds in a storm.

"We're descending towards Hill Valley, California, at 4:29 PM. On Wednesday, October 21st, 2015," Doc explained to the boys, pointing at the time circuits to show the exact date Doc had told them.

"2015?!" Marty exclaimed, looking over to Doc who was focused on the road.

"You mean we're in the future?!" Jamie asked. Neither he nor Marty couldn't believe what was going on. It was like yesterday they were escaping the clutches of being trapped in 1955, and now here they were zooming past flying cars 30 years into the future.

"Doc, you mentioned something about Marty having kids with Jennifer. Do you know anything about my future?" Jamie asked. Doc hadn't said anything about Jamie and his future; of course, he wanted to know. He "really" wanted to know, but he could tell that Doc gave him a worried sideways glance under his visor sunglasses. Something told him that he knew but it was bad to tell him. Doc looked back to the road regardless of answering his question. "Jamie, I cannot tell you anything regarding your future, you shouldn't know,"

"What? But Marty he's married, he has kids, you told him those things," Jamie said, Marty had kids and yet he didn't have anything from what he heard.

"Yeah, you told me stuff about my future, what about Jamie, Doc? Does he marry some girl and have kids of his own too?" Marty asked curious about Jamie's future as well, but also as to why he and Jamie aren't supposedly married in the future.

"Boys, I can't answer any more questions concerning the future. No one should know too much about their future," Doc told them. Marty noticed Jamie's worried expression and tried his best to comfort him as much as possible. "Listen Jamie even if we're not together, I bet you have a great future,"

"I hope so," Jamie said in a volume only Marty could hear. To say he was scared would be true especially since he and Marty aren't supposedly together or married. Hell, Marty had kids with Jennifer, and he didn't. He could still tell Doc was avoiding something judging his look.

He knew. He definitely knew. Why couldn't he tell him though...? Is it really bad to say? What could have happened to him in the future?

"Here's our exit," Doc told him as he exited the freeway with no road that was somehow in the sky and landed the car over in an alleyway. Doc opened the door on his side. "First, you've gotta get out and change clothes,"
