I'm in my apartment in LA, I was hoping for a phone call from Becki, our manager. My agent was meeting up with me today, I get up and change into some basic clothes a white shirt with jeans and a pair of campus sneakers. I lock my door and walk to the local coffee shop. I see my agent Gabby sat down with her usual ice latte, I order my drink a green tea and then sit opposite her. She gets her laptop out and she says "you've been at angel city for the last 3 years, and your manager has said that there has been offers come in with you. Some outside of the NWSL, now this choice is completely up to you Indiana. Do not let your friends or family influence where you go next okay" she says
I nod my head and she says "angel city have said that they would like to extend your contract for another 2 seasons. You've also received an offer from Bay Fc, they are the only ones in America. The ones outside consist of Juventus on a 1 season contract. There's been one from Manchester United for 2 seasons, one from Chelsea for 3 seasons. One from Sevilla for 4 seasons and one from arsenal for a season"
"I don't think juventus and Sevilla are for me" I say
"What about Angel city? Would you like to stay here!' She asks
"It's been my home since I was 18 and I guess I love it here, but maybe I need a change" I say
"Okay" she says
"And about bay Fc. Do you want to stay in the NWSL?" She asks. I stay silent, "no, I don't think I do" I say
"Okay so that leaves the ones in the WSL, so Manchester United, Chelsea and arsenal" she says
"Chelsea and arsenal are north London rivals. And man United biggest rival is Man City" she explains
"I know you, because you're my friend and I know that England has the biggest opportunity in football. And I'm not telling you what team to go too but Chelsea and arsenal have the biggest opportunity of winning cups whilst United still do, Chelsea and arsenal are the ones in the champions league" she explains
"Can I have some info on them?" I ask
"Chelsea's manager is Emma Hayes, she's leaving to be the us womans manager but no one is sure on a replacement so far. It has great players such as Hannah Hampton, Lauren James and Sam Kerr" she says
"Sam told me about Chelsea, she's been trying to get me there for months" I say
"On the other hand you have arsenal, they have Caitlin foord, Steph Catley and Kyra. Alongside England captain Leah Williamson and Alessia Russo. They've got mad skills" she says
"Okay, I think I need some time to think but thank you gabs." I tell her. She smiles and I take my drink and drink it as I go home,
I get ready for training and then set off to the training ground.

I see christen getting out her car, I walk over to her and she smiles "how are you?" She asks me
"I'm good, just had a meeting with Gabby about my future" I tell her
"And?" Shs asks
"I don't know yet, still thinking about things" I say
"That's good, don't rush into anything" she says as we head towards the changing rooms.
"It's hard though because i love American but I think I need a change" I say
"Then do that, don't hold back because you have friends here" she says
"As much as I'd love you to stay, you need to develop as a player and if that means moving then you should" she adds
I smile and then we get ready. I walk out to the field alongside Alyssa Thompson.
"Aly?" I say to her, she smiles at me and says "what's up!"
"Should I move clubs!" I ask
"If you have too, but for me Angel city have gave me a contract extension each time and I couldn't see myself in another teams shirt" she answers
"They've gave me an offer too, but I don't know" I say
"Look make a choice based on how you feel about yourself as a player" she says
I nod. We train and then I head home. I call Kacie, my best friend.

"Hey Kacie" I say as she answers
"Hey" she says
"I've got a major life crisis" I say
"What's happening?" She asks
"Should I stay in America or go to England?" I ask
"Not this again" she moans
'Sorry" I say
"Do what's best for you, I've said that the last 3 years" she says
"Okay" I say. "Can I go. I'm shattered" she asks. I laugh and say "call me when your awake"
"Okay" she says

She ends the call and I decide to call Kyra, me and Kyra grew up in the same part as Australia so we knew each other quite well. I FaceTime her and she's got her arsenal kit on eating. "Hey Kyra ' I say
"Hey, what's up!" She asks
"I need some advice" I say
"If it's about sex your not saying it" she says and the room she's in goes silent "I've never asked you about sex Kyra" I say and she laughs
"Still. Point stands" she says
"Anyway what's up?" She asks
"Is that Indi" I hear Caitlin say
"Hey Caitlin" I say and she comes into the picture, "aah I miss you" she says
"You'll see me soon Cait" I say
Steph joins "I miss you too" she says
"I miss you as well, anyway can I ask my question?" I say
"Shoot" Kyra says
"I had my meeting with Gabby" I tell them
"And well I've had some offers and I don't know what to do" I say
"Do what's best for you"Caitlin says
"Everyone's said that, christen, Alyssa, even Kacie" I say
"But I need someone to like properly explain to me" I say
"We can't do that" Steph says
"Hence why I was asking Kyra" I say
"Where are your offers?" She asks
"Erm, Sevilla, juventus, an extension from Angel city, bay fc. Arsenal, Chelsea and man United" I say
"Come to arsenal!" Kyra shouts
"Don't tell her what to do Kyra" Caitlin says
"Quite a lot of clubs want you then" Steph says
"Yeah but I've managed to cut it down to 2" I say
"Ooh which ones" Caitlin asks
'Erm, arsenal and Chelsea" I say
"Oh come on, you're seriously calling arsenal players to ask should I go to Chelsea or arsenal?" Caitlin says
"Yeah" I say
"Well you know what we are gonna say, plus you have a better connection with us" Steph says
"Yeah, I dunno, I'll probably call up Taylor and see what she says, I'll ask her how crap the weather is" I say
"The weather is always shit" Kyra says
"Hey!" I hear someone say in the back
"Oh don't worry since you're younger than me you won't even be allowed to drink, I've only just passed it" Kyra says.
"What?" I ask
"They treat me like a kid, because I'm apparently immature" Kyra says
"You are immature Kyra" I say
"Your not though, your allowed to swear don't worry" Caitlin says
"Good, I'll wind Kyra up with it" I say
She sticks her tongue out and Steph says "don't be a pest"
I laugh and say "right I'll let you guys go"
"Bye" they all say. "See you" I say
