As I requested Kartik to take me to have one last look of Gopu Kaka, he did.
I heard what the doctor told Kartik.
I know whatever the doctor was saying was the truth, par phir bhi. It was.. So painful.

Afterwards, Kartik took me to a serene place.
The happenings where troubling me a lot.
Unknowingly, I encircled his arm as I snuggled into his chest. Letting everything out.
It felt good.

Sacchi kahu, I.. I never felt good on any man's touch. Once, a boy in my class unknowingly kept his hand on my shoulder and I was so taken aback. I shooed his hand off. I don't know why I hate touches from the other gender so much. I don't even like shaking hands with a person of the other gender. It feels weird. I don't know, why I repel their touches so much.
But with Kartik. It's different.
I liked how he felt. So homely. So peaceful.
I muttered everything out to him.

And when he called me, "baccha! ", I..I felt so different yet good.

After I freaked out knowing that my hostel will be closed and I had no place to sleep, he suggested that we go to his flat. I was skeptical about it, but, I know him enough. I trust him enough.

On our way he even bought me a bottle of lemonade.
The way he held my hand as we walked to his flat. Everything about him is just so perfect.

Well, his flat. As I entered inside I was spellbound.
It was so spacious, so well maintained. Everything, perfectly at its place. Clean.
Just perfect for real.

He asked me to freshen up and then we had our dinner.

I walked to the balcony as he went to keep the plates.
Looking into the horizon, the darkness and the lights around, I took a deep breath. I had to let things go. After all.. It's life.
And.. This is something that everyone see. Death is something that everyone of us is bound to face.

As Kartik returned back, he bought a bowl full of ice cream.
Devouring in the delicacy, we talked.
He told me that he paints, I told him that I write.
And then, we talked for a while.
Suddenly, I had this urge to tell him about Anshuman. I wanted to.
So I did.
