The rest of the school day went by extremely slowly. I had gone back to grab my phone after everyone else had left and I got a lecture on being more respectful. Now it was the last few minutes of science. Mr. Coleman was pretty chill and cool and I seemed to get some stuff done since it was chem so that was good. And he let us listen to music so I was listening to SZA right now.
I sat with a really shy girl called Ainsley in science and we didn't talk a lot but we always helped each other out when needed. So I don't think she considered it rude that I was listening to music.
Harry was also in this class but he was on the other side of the room.
I shot a quick text to Goldie telling her to meet me out front after the bell rang but I knew I'd be the one meeting her because of the stupid crutches.
"Hey!" she waved once she saw me in front of the parking lot. Yup told you.
"Hi! Cooper's car is that one." I pointed to the Tesla in front where I could see Cooper and Ben.
"Okay let's go" she said, wrapping an arm around my shoulders and helping me over there.
We both hopped into the back and we started driving out of the school zone.
"Hey girls, how was your day?" Cooper smiled from the front seat.
"It was alright." I said the same time Goldie said good.
"Just alright?" Cooper questioned, raising his eyebrow.
"Yeah alright is better than fine" I shrugged. Cooper sighed sympathetically and handed me his phone. I raised my eyebrows.
"It's for your shitty music, Mils." Ben smirked. Goldie tried not to laugh even though she had the same music taste. I rolled my eyes and then asked Goldie what she wanted to listen to. And then we blasting So High School by Taylor Swift.
"I should've known," Cooper laughed as we sang along. "Okay I need a cigarette"
Me and Ben groaned as he lit one.
"Now it's going to smell like shit." Ben coughed.
"Yeah because you're in here," Cooper replied. Ben just sighed and opened his window and stuck his head out for fresh air. Goldie and I laughed our asses off.
"Truth, dare spin bottles, you know how to ball I know Aristotle.." we screamed as Ben plugged his ears and Cooper shook his head in amusement.
Once we reached the house Goldies jaw dropped and I nudged her and she shut it.
"That was my reaction" I laughed as Cooper opened the door.
We took off our shoes and entered the kitchen where Evan was grabbing something from the fridge.
"Hey Millie, do you guys want a snack?" Evan asked once he saw us. I looked at Goldie who nodded yes and I replied,
"Yes please." as we sat down on the counter stools. Goldie looked shy so I decided to introduce her.
