"So tell me what you want, what you really really want, I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want - come on Millie sing, this is our song!!!" Mum called from the front seat.

We were currently driving to the lacrosse game and I was excited to watch but I was dreading Mum meeting my friends. I was nervous she would say something embarrassing.

"Fine." I replied and then started sing - screaming to the spice girls with Mum.
It felt good, we hadn't done this in forever and I didn't realize how much I missed it.
It was good to let go and forget, to just sing my heart out with Mum like old times and feel free and most importantly happy.

"SO HERE'S A STORY FROM A TO Z, IF YOU WANNA GET WITH ME YOU GOTTA LISTENING CAREFULLY-" We sang together with the windows down.

We were driving in Mum's new car, which she was annoyingly obsessed with. She was really living her rich life, I mean why was she wearing a Ralph Lauren strapless dress with her Chanel sunglasses on to a lacrosse game?

I felt like a rat next to her. I was hearing a really big hoodie and a mini jean skirt I'd found at the bottom of my bag that I brought with me from San Diego. I would be wearing jeans, but I still have this stupid cast. Luckily I was getting it off tomorrow.
I couldn't wait to be able to walk properly again.

Just as the song finished we pulled into a parking space.

"You ready for the game!!!" Mum asked me from the front seat, adjusting her sunglasses again. I rolled my eyes to myself.

To be honest not really, but I've dealt with embarrassment before, so I might as well just get it over with.

The game started at 10am and it was currently 9:30 so we still had half an hour to wander around. Ben's game was later today so I got to watch Harry and Austin's full game before moving over to the soccer field to watch his, which was great, I thought I was going to have to field hop every fifteen minutes.

"Millie!!" a familiar voice shrieked from behind me, I whipped around to see Goldie and her family walking through the parking lot behind us.

Austin looked like he'd hardly slept and his jersey was wrinkled- therefore proving my point more, and he was dragging his bag behind him.

Goldie looked as happy as ever though as ran towards me, her flyways that had escaped her fishtail braids, whipping her face in the wind.

"Hey!!" I was about to run towards her on instinct, but then remembered my crutches, so I just stood there awkwardly waiting for her to catch up.

"You excited to watch the game?" Goldie asked out of breath, wiggling her eyebrows up and down like a crazy person.

"Maybe..." I replied, trying to hide my smile.
