As Antoine set up his laptop on the dining table, he couldn't help but steal sidelong glances at Sonja. She was fussing over her appearance, smoothing down her dress and tucking stray strands of hair behind her ear. As Antoine spoke about his loved ones with such warmth and familiarity, Sonja couldn't resist being touched by his thoughtfulness. For two people marrying out of convenience, he was ensuring she felt welcomed and cherished by his family - a gesture that spoke volumes.

"You mean the girl in those pink lace—"

"Enzo!" Antoine swiftly cut him off, shooting his brother a warning glare.

But it was too late - Sonja immediately recalled those intimate photos she had risque snapped for Antoine during their long-distance days. Her face flushed crimson as the rest of the family dissolved into warm chuckles and good-natured teasing.
