Sheikh Muqbil b. Hādī al-Wādiʿī رحمه الله was asked: _Are the jinn from the descendants of Ādam?_ He replied:
لا، هم قبل بني آدم " خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ *وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِنْ مَارِجٍ مِنْ نَارٍ "
*"No, they were created before the descendants of Ādam. _{He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire}_ [55:14-15]"*🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I realized I was a fool for rejecting a proposal as good as this. Wallahi I could say this is the best proposal I've seen so far.
Here I am in my company's conference room with Adeel, Hammed and one other guy from Adeel's company.
"So that's all for now" Adeel said as the power point comes to an end.
"Ma Sha Allah. I'm really impressed and I will say I can't wait to start working with you. And if my calculations are right, we should be able to launch it in two months time?" I asked and he nod.
"So are you in for it" He asked and I nod before signing the deal.
"Jazakillahu Khayran. I also can't wait to start working with you." He said with a smile before exchanging handshake with Hammed.
Adele left with the guy that came with him before I turned towards Hammed.
"I'll be going back to Nigeria tonight and I'll need you to be reporting to me every day." I said and he nod before I left the room.
I was about to start the ignition when my phone started ringing. I brought it out if my bag to see my mum as the caller ID.
"As Salam Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu " Mum greeted the moment I answered it.
"Wa Alaykum Salam mum. I'll call you once I get home" I said and she nod before disconnecting the call.
By the time I got home it was already Asr so I observed my Salah before calling mum back.
"Hope no problem?" She asked as I massage my forehead.
"Just a mild headache. I'll be fine" I said smiling and she nod.
"Your Aunt Leeanah annual Musaabaqah (Qur'an competition) will you holding in two days time will you be able to meet up?" She asked and I nod.
"My flight is by 10 pm tonight" I said and she nod.
There's no way I'll miss it. And the most interesting part is that the competition is in two parts one for those that can talk and the other is for those that can't hear or talk like me and I'm part of the judges. It is always interesting and educative.
"Ukhty" I heard Zaynab's voice and I walked towards the door.
"Grandma wants to see you. She's in her room" She said and I nod. Since any of her male children might come in, i dressed up before heading over to her room.
"As Salam Alaykum" She greeted upon sighting me and I smiled before sitting down beside her. And in a corner of her room is one of his grandson seated. I met him only once and that was during the wedding. Abdul Azeez is a year or two older than him and after Abdul Azeez's death, he had been crowned as the heir to the throne.
"Let's wait for the king" She said and I nod.
After few minutes, the king arrived still in his royal thobe.
