Two years after

Third Person's Point Of View

"Saniyah what's all this rubbish and how dare you embarrassed your dad and I" Naheemah yelled barging into her daughter's office.

"Mum..."

"Don't you dare call me that. I told you that Abdullah is coming with his family members but you refused to show up. I was highly embarrassed" Naheemah said and Saniyah sighed.

"Mum you caused it. I had told you and dad several times that I'm not interested in remarrying yet you kept on bringing proposals from those god-damned people"

"Mind your language and what kind of parents will open their eyes and watch her 27 years old daughter stay single for life." Naheemah yelled and Saniyah sighed before massaging her forehead.

"I'm going to Saudi Arabia tonight, the company over there needs my attention and I'll be staying at the palace"

"Is that the answer to my question? Is that the solution to the embarrassment your dad and I faced? Maybe you should just marry your work. It's been two good years since Abdul Azeez died and you refused to get over him. For Allah's sake Saniyah you're still young"

"Mum wallahi if you and dad had stopped bringing proposals then I'll be fine. You two stooped so low going about asking people to marry your dumb widowed daughter. Mum can you guys stop looking for a spouse for me and let peace reign."

"Saniyah... See..." She stopped talking before walking towards her. "I know it's not hard but Habeebty it's been two years already."

"I don't want to"

"You have to Habeebty"

"I..I love him a lot and i had promised not to..."

"You wanting to remain single is contrary to what is encouraged in Islam. Habeebty wallahi if you promise to remarry then I won't continue going around look for spouse for you. Please Habeebty you have to bring up your own righteous kids and form a Muslim family." Naheemah said before kissing her daughter's forehead.

"Dad waited five before remarrying"

"You can't compare you and your dad Saniyah. Do you know the age difference between your dad and I. And does it matter? Of course not but you're still young to give up on marriage. Even women that became a widow at the age 40 and above still remarry so what is stopping you."

"Mum that won't change my mind as I made a promise to myself not to love another man or talk less of marrying him. So please let's stop having this kind of conversation"

"San..."

"Mum please" Saniyah said and Naheemah nodded before leaving the office.

Queen Hidayah was seen coming out of the grand entrance with a huge smile on her wife and with her is one of her granddaughter as some cars drove into the palace.

The door of the middle car opened and Saniyah stepped out before walking towards the queen.
