I was seated in my new room with Sawdah as we watched the Bay'ah ceremony on the television. Unlike last coronation, females aren't allowed at the ceremony.

I watch Adam took the oath of allegiance and a huge takbeer was heard after the oath taking.

"So what's next after this?" I asked Sawdah.

"I really don't know much but I think they will be a special prayer at the Masjid and after that he will be meeting with foreign leaders and stuff like that Sha" She said and I smiled.

"Looks like Basheerah had been teaching you yoruba because you just said the word 'sha'" I said and she giggled before we both turn to the television.

"I found something among Abu Hurairah's things yesterday. Guess what I found?" She said and I shrugged.

"Come on try guessing I wouldn't mind anything you say"

"I'm serious I really don't have any idea unless you want me to mention stuff like..."

"Don't say it out. Must you always mention that to me" She said being serious while I started laughing.

"I found a long list of Muslim boys name, girls name likewise twins names. Your husband is really anticipating the arrival of this baby. Wait what if we request for a scan in your next appointment with the doctor" She said super excited and I shook my head.

"We decided to not check the gender so I don't want to do that" I said and she groaned.

"Come on." She groaned but nevertheless didn't say anything about it again.

"So you're a queen now?" I asked and she frowned.

"I hate royal but I guess I have no choice"

"I thought I was the only one that doesn't like politics and royalty. I almost rejected Abdu..." I stopped upon realizing that I'm about to mention his name again. Though Adam and I do talk about him but I found it inappropriate to talk to my co wife about my late husband.

"The bay'ah ceremony had come to an end" Sawdah said changing the topic and I nod. "I'll be in my place" She said before leaving my room. Her chamber is different from mine so we both have our privacy.

I felt the usual sharp pain on my back and I huffed. And that was how it was till I fell asleep.

"No. No Doctor I won't accept this" Adam yelled pointing a finger at the doctor's face.

"I'm sorry His Majesty but the best thing to do now is C-section. It's been two days since we've been trying to make her give birth by herself but the pain is getting unbearable now so the only option is surgery." Dr Ahmad said and before Adam could lash out on her, his mum dragged him away from there.
