Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, Nya, and Lloyd all went on their dragons after making sure everyone was taken care of. They landed, still baffled about what went down in the town of Ninjago, they were still trying to process what they witnessed and almost becoming ink-goop monster chow. Lloyd stayed quiet as he stood his back facing everyone with his arms crossed staring ahead with a cold, look as he thought while the others talked it out what went down.

"So, what in the world were those creatures?" Cole spoke up first.

Kai hums softly holding his chin in thought, narrowing his eyes a bit in thought.

"I don't know...I never once read about creatures like those. What about you Zane? Do you have any data about those things?" Kai turns to the nindroid.

"...Unfortunately, I don't I have no results of those creatures. I look and analyze their being, but they have no connection to any I have in my data." Zane tells Kai with a small frown. He feels helpless. He never felt such a way since he had every data of every human and creature that was alive.

"What? Strange..." Kai murmurs in disbelief.

"Maybe they were new species?" Nya said as she leaned more on her right leg while holding her left arm nervously.

"...It was strange didn't ya guys realize the texture of that... goop-like thing around their bodies?" Jay spoke up after being silent, everyone even Lloyd turned to look at Jay.

"What do you mean man?"

"Well...doesn't that goop-like thing feel like something to you?" He says as he looks at each one of them with a frown.

Zane tilts his head "I believe the texture you are speaking of, Jay is 'ink'." he informs everyone, shocking them.

"Seriously!? So their whole body must be full on ink goop." Cole exclaimed, shivering in disgust remembering the feeling it was.

"But the main questions we should know is 'Why were they attacking the people.' and 'What are they.'"

"They are called 'Ink Walkers'..." The same muffled female voice spoke, but it was closer and from...above.

All of them snap their heads to see the cloaked, figure standing on their home rooftop staring down at them with a white fox mask with red patterns on it. The six of them got into a stance being on guard, they didn't know if this person was good or evil.

"Relax... I'm not here as your enemy, I'm an ally."

Lloyd narrows his eyes at the unknown female.

"How would we know if you were with those monsters?" he growls lowly bringing out his dao sword.

They hear the female sigh, while their shoulders drop. They step back cautiously when she jumps and lands gracefully in front of them.

"Then why would I save you all from your doom? Those monsters can't be hurt by normal weapons, or powers only certain powers and weapons can harm them..." She told them calmly.

Nya feeling braver then the guys step forward "You...called them 'Ink Walkers', right?" The stranger looks at Nya and nods. "How do you know of those monsters?"

"...I was destined to fight them. Since I was born, it was prophesized that one day when the ink walkers come back the Guardian will be reborn, to fight them. But the Guardian will not be alone, for the Guardian will protect the savior who will destroy the dark lord, Loki for good. For he will try to consume all the light and life."
