It was two weeks since Y/n and Kazuha met in Japan. Now, Y/n was meeting his cousin Ryujin and her groupmates from ITZY for dinner to celebrate his birthday. Their schedules had finally aligned, giving them a chance to catch up and relax.

As Y/n walked into the restaurant, he was greeted with warm smiles and cheerful voices. Ryujin immediately rushed to give him a hug. "Happy birthday, Y/n!" she exclaimed.

"Thanks, Ryujin," he replied, smiling widely.

The rest of ITZY followed suit, each wishing him a happy birthday. Yeji, in particular, seemed to be in high spirits. She gave him a playful hug and lingered a bit longer than the others. "Happy birthday, handsome!" she said, her eyes sparkling mischievously.

"Thanks, Yeji," Y/n replied, chuckling.

They all settled at their table, chatting and laughing as they perused the menu. Yeji, sitting next to Y/n, kept finding ways to engage him in conversation, her playful demeanor hard to miss.

"So, Y/n," Yeji began, leaning closer, "how does it feel to be a year older?"

Y/n laughed. "I feel the same, honestly. Just another year."

"Well, I think you're getting better with age," she said, giving him a wink.

Ryujin noticed the interaction and smirked. "Yeji, are you flirting with my cousin?" she teased.

"Maybe I am," Yeji shot back playfully. "Is that a problem?"

Y/n chuckled, feeling a bit flustered. "You guys are too much."

The night continued with more food, laughter, and stories. Throughout dinner, Yeji's flirty comments and subtle touches made Y/n feel both amused and slightly uneasy. He appreciated her attention but couldn't shake off the confusion about his feelings.

As they finished their meal and prepared to leave, Yeji leaned in close to Y/n once more. "We should hang out more often, you know. It's always fun when you're around."

"Yeah, we should," Y/n replied, trying to keep his tone light.

After dinner, they all stood outside the restaurant, saying their goodbyes. Ryujin gave Y/n another hug. "Happy birthday again, cousin. Don't be a stranger."

"I won't, Ryujin. Thanks for tonight," he said.

Yeji gave him one last playful hug, whispering, "Don't forget what I said. Let's hang out soon."

"Sure, Yeji. I'll keep that in mind," Y/n responded, his thoughts swirling.

As he walked away, he couldn't help but think about Kazuha and how different his interactions with her felt compared to Yeji. He knew he had to sort out his feelings, but for now, he focused on the warmth of his birthday celebration and the support of his friends and family.

ITZY's van passed by as Y/n was walking to his car, and he saw Yeji making a heart with her fingers through the window. He couldn't help but smile. She was older, and he always called her "noona," but something about her made him incredibly happy every time they were together.

As he reached his car, Y/n's thoughts drifted to the playful and affectionate moments he shared with Yeji. Despite the age difference, there was a connection that felt natural and comforting. Her flirtatious nature and genuine care made his heart flutter in a way he hadn't experienced before.

Driving home, Y/n replayed the events of the evening in his mind. The dinner with ITZY had been filled with laughter and warmth, and Yeji's constant attention had made him feel special. He couldn't ignore the chemistry between them, even if it made things more complicated with Kazuha.
