_changbin pov_

I was walking to 5th period after lunch when I saw a not-so-pleasant scene. Seungmin and our classmate Yoongi were standing by the lockers. They seemed really, really close—too close for my liking. It seems that Minnie had dropped his books all over the floor and Yoongi was helping him pick them up, but that's not the point. He's flirting—like very obviously flirting. But why does it seem like Minnie is flirting back? My heart hurts when I see Yoongi hand him a small paper. It's probably a number. I see Minnie put it in his pocket and they walk to their class. My heart hurts. It hurts bad.

And before I can comprehend it, I was in front of the school druggy buying weed and a small flask filled with whiskey. He told me it was the best combo for heartbreak, and before I knew it I'm high as fuck, a little drunk, and because I'm not thinking straight I text Seungmin, and we're in the bathroom. I'm just glad he made me sleep before I give myself away and spill my guts everywhere.

The next thing I remember is waking up on Seungmin's lap as he's playing with my hair. I feel less high than before and a lot more sober, but not much of a hangover. I'm used to drinking, so it's not as bad. "How long have I been out?" I ask as I sit up and look in his eyes. He looks upset—he's pouting like a puppy. "Two hours and a half. School is over in like 30 minutes," he says, still pouting. Even upset he's cute. "Oh," I say. I really don't know what to say. "I'm sorry, Minmin," I say, hoping the scolding won't be as bad if I apologize first.

"What were you thinking, Changbin?! You're just lucky you texted me and not Chan or Lee Know—you would be in so much trouble!!" he screamed. "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking straight." I didn't even have a good reason to tell him. What could I say—I got jealous seeing you talk to that dork and decided to drown my thoughts and feelings away?

"That's right, you weren't thinking! It was the middle of the f*ing day! Why the hell did you think getting fed up would be smart—exactly today of all days?! We have band practice! Chan told you last time if you show up high again you're dropped from the band! We are so close, Binnie, from being something—stop trying to throw it away!!!" he says, starting to tear up. Before I can even say anything, he starts sobbing, and my heart aches seeing him like this.

"I'm so sorry, Minnie, I was being stupid. I swear it won't happen again. Just please don't cry." I hug him really tight around his waist as he hugs my neck.

"I forgive you... just please, never again. Please." He says, calming down a little. I hug tightly. "I promise."

~~~ idk if I like this I kind of just thought of something out of nowhere and wrote as I went along with it also any stay army I normally only see jungkook or Jimin or teatea so I thought I'd use yoongi because he's my bias so 🫶🫶🫶I promise I'll keep him kind and not a dush I just wanted to add a little spice to changbins character so that's why I said that also what do you think yoongi gave his number to seungmin idk I guess will find out~~~~~

Also I know it's not as short as I thought 😅😅
