Thought Of Death

They are soldiers of Rudragarh!

Rudragarh is one of the most dangerous and powerful regions. I heard that a half prince has claimed his right to the throne. He killed the actual sons and daughters of his father. He killed his stepmother also. He is cruel and heartless. He doesn't have any respect for anyone. He appoints criminals, rapists, and murderers in his army and he takes pleasure in killing people.

They are our swore enemies and now I know why I was abducted.

If they kill me today, we won't be able to form an alliance with Paanigarh. We won't be able to become strong and he won't be able to kill us.
Instead of going for a war like a man, he kidnapped me. He is nothing but a coward.
My blood was boiling and my whole body was burning with anger. I am so angry that if I see him here now, I will kill him with my bare hands. I will rip his head off with my bare hands.

While I was bubbling with anger I heard footsteps of soldiers.

4 of them came and the women started crying looking at them.

"Please, please leave us alone".
"Please we are begging you. "

They grabbed one of the women's hand. She started screaming and they started dragged her, pulling her hair. She was screaming with pain but they didn't care. I tried to stop them but neither could I walk nor my hands were moving.

Jyoti and I also shouted but they didn't listen to any of us. They dragged her out of the place.

After a few minutes she stopped screaming.

I felt a sudden chill in my spine thinking what they might be doing to her.

"God knows what they will do to that poor girl". Jyoti said in a crying tone.

Tears came into my eyes looking at this barbaric act. I was cursing myself for coming here. I was missing my family and now I know in my heart that I won't be able to meet them again

Soon I will be dead and I won't be able to do anything about it. I was more sad and concerned about Jyoti than myself. She is in this mess because of me.

I looked at Jyoti and she was scared. She was hiding her tears but I can sense the fear that she was feeling

I looked at her and said.

"I am sorry. I failed you "

She looked at me and started crying. In a crying voice she said

"It's not your fault kunwari". It was my responsibility to keep you safe. It is me who failed you. "

Tears fall from my eyes knowing that in a few moments we are going to die a painful death

We again heard footsteps and this time Soldiers came again and now they have came with food
One of them came near me and offered me food. I looked away and turned my face away

He grabbed my cheeks with his hand and forcefully opened my mouth and stuffed food into my mouth

I spit it out and he raised his hand on the air to slap me.
Another soldier stopped him.

He again stuffed food in my mouth. This time also I spit it out.

He got irritated and said.

"Do you think you are in a palace and I am your servant. I am giving you food because I was ordered by my king. "

"King! He is not king. He is a coward who takes advantage of women. You do not serve a king, you serve a barbarian." I will never eat your bloody food even if i die of hunger" I said in an angry, disgust, hateful tone.
