An Abduction

When I Went inside the temple where the idol of Devi was residing I got shocked

The idol was covered with gold and diamonds. The whole place was made up of gold and precious stones. It was looking abandoned from outside but it was beautiful from inside.
I looked here and there and then the priestess told me to sit down
I sat on the ground which was also gold plated.
I sat and she started chanting mantras and we started doing the rituals

She told me to pour kumkum water then haldi water and then milk and water on the idol of Devi maa. I did everything I was instructed

Then we started doing hawan. Everything went smoothly and only maha aarti was left

I stood up for maha aarti and suddenly I heard people screams outside the temple.
I turned back to look but priestess told me that I can't leave until I do the aarti.

I got nervous but I started doing the maha arti.

Suddenly a group of Soldiers barged in the temple. It was not our soldiers. It was not Prince Akshat's soldiers. I don't know who they are. They didn't have any flag with them..

They started coming inside and they were carrying weapons with them.
My guards surrounded me to protect me and Jyoti came running beside me.

Our soldiers started fighting with them. They didn't had any weapon still they were trying to protect me

I got nervous and scared. Sweat started coming from my face and tears started coming from my eyes.
In front my eyes one after one my soldiers are dying. They started attacking my attendees and they were snatching their duppatas and they were harrassing them. All this was happening in front of me and I couldn't do anything. I was standing there helplessly.
A sudden rage started in my mind. My blood started boiling after seeing the horrible things happening in front of me.
I can't let them die in front of me. They are here because of me and I am not going to stand and watch all of them die.
I looked here and there for something that I can use to fight back and my eyes caught attention of the idol of Devi. In one of her hands she was carrying a sword. I took it out and I pointed it towards the soldiers. One of them came near me and I started fighting with him.. I know that I am not a warrior but I sure can protect myself.

Within few moments I killed 3 of them and my soldiers managed to kill another 9-10 of them but it was not enough because we could hear more footsteps of soldiers.

The priestess got wounded and in pain said that she knows a secret passage which will help us in escaping.
Jyoti and I managed to get her up and she started walking with our help
She was giving directions and we were walking carrying her.

We went through a long dark tunnel. Few of the soldiers were also there.

After walking for a few minutes in the dark we saw brightness. We knew that we are at the end of the passage and a little sense of relief came to me and Jyoti
We smiled a bit and started walking faster.

The moment we came outside the passage, I saw the same soldiers in their horse carrying swords.
They knew the passage and they knew that we will be coming from it.
I looked at Jyoti and she looked at me. We saw the priestess and she was smiling
I felt a sudden rage and I said to the soldiers

"Who are you all?
Who is your king?"

They started laughing and said in a sarcastic tone

"As if we will tell you. "

I then looked at the priestess and she was still smiling. I knew that it was her doing. She told them everything. She made fool of us.
