Narrator POV

Aditya was sitting on the sofa and was stressed and serious.
Awantika came into the chamber after a while.

He told her to close the door and she ordered the guards to close it.

She came near him and stood in front of him.

He looked up to her and grabbed her hand gently and made her sit beside him

She sat near him and in a gentle voice said

"What did you want to say"?

He looked at her and said

"Can you answer one of my questions?"

She nodded in a Yes.

Then in a firm tone he said

"Do you want to leave me?"

Awantika was shocked to hear this.
She didn't know what to say.
She never thought about it.
All she wants is to take revenge from the people who hurt her but she never thought of leaving Aditya.

Hasitantly she said

"N...no... I will not."

When she said no Aditya sighed and he felt a sense of relief.

He then said

"Your father wants to sign a peace treaty between Rudragarh and Pratapkila. He is ready to forget the past and be loyal to Rudragarh and me "

Awantika was listening to this blankly and she said

"And what do you want? "

Aditya raised his eyes and in a low tone said

"I don't know "

Awantika grabbed Aditya hands in her hand and said

"You are the king of Rudragarh. After a few weeks you will be officially declared as the king.
All the things you will do after that will be for the sake of Rudragarh and your subject.
You have to give Priority to your people before your family and before yourself.
Do whatever is beneficial for the people of Rudragarh."

Aditya with his other arm put his hand on  Awantika's palms and said

"Do you think you can forget the past"?

Awantika got confused and said

"Past? "

Aditya nodded and said

"If you are willing to forget the past and restart our life and relationship then I too am ready to forget the enmity between Rudragarh and Pratapkila."

Awantika immediately took her hands out of Aditya's hand and stood up
She was confused and shocked.
She didn't even know what to say anymore

Forgetting means forgiving the people who did all the terrible things to her
But if she agrees to forget all the things and move on then her family and people of Pratapkila will be safe forever.

She was thinking many things in her mind and Aditya said.

"Take you time. You don't have to answer me now but remember that the day I will be the king you will be the queen and the things you told me also applies to you."

He stood up and turned to leave and suddenly Awantika grabbed his hand

He turned around and she said

"I am ready."
