In the Evening
The table was arranged and one by one everyone gathered around the table
All of them sat.
Aditya came in the last and the moment he entered the hall he took a quick glance at the members that have arrived there.
He made a fist and greeted his teeth to find that awantika has not come yet.
He felt disappointed and slowly went to his place
He sat down.
In his right side bua ji was sitting.
Aditya singalled an attendee to serve him water.
He drank it.
Bua ji said.
Beta...where is Awantika?
I haven't seen her in days!
Yes maa...you are right. I also haven't seen bhabhi in days . Vijay said
Aditya looked at them and in a low but heavy tone said
"She is busy with her work."
"Will she not come today ?" Vijay asked
Aditya grabbed the glass tightly and looked down.
"I wanted her to meet your cousins. She hasn't met most of them yet. I thought I would introduce her to them today at dinner " bua ji said
Aditya cleared his throat a bit, loosen a button and said
"Bua ji....I...."
He was about to admit that he spoke rudely to her when suddenly the guard announced her presence
Aditya immediately looked up and couldn't believe that she came.
Awantika slowly came inside and all of the guests were awed to see her
She was wearing a red lehanga with translucent duppata.
The Red was going well with her skin and it looked more brighter today
Her face was glowing and she seemed very different.
Different in a good way.
Aditya's eyes couldn't get off her and for a moment he forgot to blink. His eyes were widened and he was just looking at every visible skin of hers.
She slowly came forward and sat near Aditya because that was the only place vacant
Bua ji smiled and she smiled back.
"I thought you will not join us today "
"Yes bhabhi .. I thought that too"
Awantika smiled and said
"How can I not join the celebration happening for my one and only dewar ji. !"
Aditya was still looking at her but she didn't even looked once towards him.
He didn't know why but suddenly he was feeling hot.
He asked for more water.
He gulped the water and folded his sleeved.
He again looked at awantika who was talking to other guests
Bua ji was introducing her to the guests
After greeting them and talking to them finally the food had arrived.
One by one they were given food.
All of them prayed and started eating.
While everyone was busy in eating Aditya's eyes were still struck on her
She seemed different. More glowing . Her gestures , her expressions have changed.
Her lips were more pink than usual. Her eye lashes were more blank and defined.
Her eyes was shiny and her face was glowing.
