Awantika POV

"Today I am here,  appealing to you to give me justice."

Aditya smiled a bit  which I saw through my veil.

"Very well.
But do you know what will happen if you fail to prove your innocence?"

"I very well know it Raja ji. I am ready to face the consequences"

"Very well then . Let's start the trial"  he ordered

I nodded and then continued.

"Raja ji.
Before starting the trial I want to know  what will you do if someone who is important to you is behind this? Will you punish them like you punish common people ?"

Everyone in the court room started gossiping and an anger prevailed in his eyes

In a loud voice he said

"This is a court room Rani ji. Everyone standing in front of me is equal.
Whoever found guilty will be given punishment according to their part in the crime
You will get your justice. Don't worry about it!"

I nodded again and then I took a few steps back  and clapped

Two guards came grabbing two attendees who were tied
The moment they came in front of the king they sat on their knees

Aditya along with other members was  looking at them surprisingly and confusingly.

"Who are they?" Aditya asked

"They are attendees Raja ji
The day I went outside on a boat ride they fought in front of my chamber".

"The fight was very severe. They pulled each other's hairs , scratched each other
When asked the reason they didn't say anything and left".

Aditya kept his hands on his chin like he always do and was listening to me carefully.
For a moment I forgot everything and stared at him like he is the only one present  in the entire courtroom

Suddenly I heard voices and I shook my head. I realised that I have been quiet for so long that even Aditya was looking at me in confusion

"I apologise Raja ji.... My neck ... hurts a bit"...

Aditya said

"So you are punishing them because they fought in front of your chamber?"

"No ..Raja ji !"
These attendees were lying
"When I tried to find out the reason behind their fight I came to know that they were fighting over some jwellery which was given to them by the person whom they serve"

When asked to show the jwellary they didn't had that.

"Their fight was fake.
While they were fighting my attendees and the guards who were alloted in front of my door went to resolve their fight.
Someone took benefit of it and sneaked into my chamber.
They were told to put the bangles but in hurry they left the entire box there.
And that is the biggest mistake they have made"

Aditya thinned his eyebrows and was listening to me carefully.
I looked at him through my veil.
I gulped and took a deep breath because I knew what I am going to tell now will definitely make him angry.

I took a deep breath and continued

"The box contained the stamp of Suryagarh Raja ji.
Princess Ratna's home.
The attendees who were fighting were investigated and these two have something to tell you".
