Narrator POV -
While Aditya went outside for some work Awantika went to her cousins and tried to keep her mind out of the blunder she created.
After spending some hours it was almost dinner time.
All of them ate dinner and to avoid Aditya Awantika went to the library.
She started looking for books that she can read to pass the time
She wanted Aditya to fall asleep and then she will go into the room.
She started going through shelf after shelf and suddenly she remembered her moment with Aditya.
She smiled and shook her head immediately to come out of her thoughts
While she was going through shelves she felt as if someone is watching her.
She turned around and saw no one
She felt weird but without paying much attention she went to the last shelves where a lots of romantic books were kept.
It was prohibited for children and unmarried girls but the ones who are married or about to marry can look through it.
She grabbed one of the books and took it to the table.
She opened the book and started reading it quietly.
It was a love story between a general and a poor girl who met while the general went on the war
The story was so interesting that she kept reading it
After reading few pages she came to a part where intimate scene between general and the girl was described.
Awantika's face immediately turned red and she looked here and there to see if anyone's watching her or not.
After looking she again started reading the book and she gulped and bit her lips.
Suddenly she heard a noise and immediately closed the book and put it on the table
She stood up panicking and turned to see who was there
Her eyes have widened because of the shock and she was sweaty and red.
She saw Aditya coming and she immediately hid the book behind her back and said
"What are you doing here?"
He came near her and said
"I should ask you this!
What are you doing here at this hour?"
"I...I was reading something.!"
Aditya tried to peeped but Awantika was hiding the book behind
What were you reading? He asked
She hasitantly said ...
"A....story ..... A war story ..."
Aditya nodded in yes and said
"Come now! It's late. "
"You go first ... I am coming" !
He turned again and gave her a suspicious look
She smiled and signalled him to go further
Aditya turned and Awantika took the book out and slowly moved towards the shelf
The moment she was about to put the book , Aditya snatched it from her hand
"Give it to me! " She yelled
"No... I also want to read what you are reading."
Both of them started running.
Awantika was trying to snatch the book back but Aditya height was way more than her.
He lifted both of his hands and opened the book and saw the name.
The moment he opened the book he recognised what type of book it was
Awantika immediately turned out of embarrassment and put his hands on her face to hide her face
Aditya face widened and he closed the book.
He went in front of Awantika and said
"So, this is your war story! Haann"!
