She came in with some attendees

She saw both of us and a smile appeared on her face.

She said

"I am happy to see you both together".

I blushes a little and he smiled a bit.

"I wanted to talk to both of you. It's good that both of you are here"

We looked at each other then looked at bua ji

Aditya said

"Come Bua ji. Why are you standing
Let's sit and talk".

He signed the attendees to leave and they left.
Bua ji said

"Yes beta".

He and bua ji sat opposite to each other.

I was standing beside him
Bua ji saw it and said

"Awantika, beta why are you standing? Come and sit beside Aditya".

I looked at him and I saw a devilish smile on his face

I can't say no to her so I nodded and went near him and sat beside him.

He placed his hand on his chin supported his elbows on his thigh. He leaned a bit to listen carefully to what bua ji have to say

She in a serious yet gentle voice said.

"You and Awantika are married so she is our daughter in law now. In that sense she and you have to do some rituals which you haven't done.
It's already delayed because you were in PAANIGARH but now it can't be delayed."

Aditya and I was listening to her carefully and she continued.

"Aditya beta, there's an ancestor temple in the outskirts of Rudragarh. You and Awantika need to go there and pray for your happy future and prosperity of region"

Hearing her saying that Aditya immediately stood up and turned his back towards us.

In a cold voice he said

"Bua ji, you already know that I don't believe in all this rituals and God. All of these are women things.
I and Awantika are indeed married and she is you daughter in law. You can ask her to do whatever rituals you want but I will not participate in any of it."

I felt a bit weird listening to him. Also I was feeling a bit sad. Does he not wish to go with me? Or is it because of something else. I was staring at bua ji and Aditya

Bua ji looked at me and said

"Awantika...."

I came out of my thoughts and said

"Yes...yes...bua ji "

"You tell me. Am I Wrong? "

"N...no...you are not.
We should seek blessings of God."

"Right ....He never listens to me beta . Now you tell him something. Maybe he will listen to you."

She stood up and said.

"I will start the preparation."
She then looked at me and said

"Beta, do anything you need to persuade him ok".

I nodded.

She then left

He was still standing there facing his back towards me. I have no idea how am I going to persuade him. He won't even listen to his family members then why would he listen to me.
It's all my fault, I shouldn't have said yes to bua ji. Now I am trapped
