(Alright here is Chapter 3! It's a little bit shorter compared to the last chapter, but in my opinion, I feel as if it is necessary for the story and its plot that I'm trying to envision and create as the story goes along as I plan it for. I hope you all enjoy it and have a wonderful rest of your day! Bye lovelies!! <3)

I made my way over the rooftops that direct towards April's apartment. Once I made my way onto the fire escape outside her aunt's apartment, I knocked on the window lightly, assuring her aunt doesn't hear me in the middle of the night. "April. April?"

I can't believe I'm doing this right now.

As if right on cue, April appeared by the window in her pajamas, clearly drowsy as I just woken her up. She rubbed and narrowed her eyes, trying to get rid of any ounce of tiredness and sleep in her body.

"Leo?" she yawned aloud, completely confused. I waved timidly, realizing this probably wasn't the best time to talk. She then scoffed lightly and opened the window to see what I needed. "This better be good."

"Hey," I opened shakily, hoping this conversation goes well, "I need to talk."

She continued to rub her eyes, still sleepy and clearly annoyed now that I've woken her up just for a late-night chat. "Can it wait till' morning?"

In this moment, I didn't necessarily know how to approach this, seeming that I've never really had a crush in my life before. If you'd like to call it that. So, I just cut to the chase and blurted it out. "I met this girl."

Surprisingly enough to me April, who before was clearly sleepy and tired, instantaneously became shocked and interested with her eyes widen and gasped with a smile creeping onto her face. She then pulled me by shoulders and shook them lightly in delight. "Tell me everything!"

A little flustered and startled from her sudden change in demeanor, I was a little nervous admitting aloud onto somebody, but I quickly decided to do it and talk about her.

"Well, she's really cool." She nods in excitement, conveying me to continue on.

"She's also a martial artist." She nods again even more excited than before, which made me a happy the more I kept talking about her.

"And, uh.... she's in the Foot Clan." I said shyly, ducking my head down so she doesn't see the fainted flush complexion on my face. However, she didn't nod in excitement like she did the last couple of times. Instead to my surprise, she smacked me across the face with a rolled-up magazine of hers and yelled at me in bewilderment.

"Are you crazy?!" she asked me loudly with her rolled-up magazine still in her hand, seemingly waiting for my next 'crazy' response.

I sighed, slightly irritated at the fact that this was going to occur and tried to explain myself, my thoughts, and feelings, "April, She's different. She's-"

"In the Foot Clan." She said firmly, interrupting me.

I attempted to speak again. "Yeah, but she's-"

"In the Foot Clan!" She said firmly once more, interrupting me again.

I rolled my eyes and sighed again, not taking in the words she was giving me, firm on my belief on who she really is, "Look, I know I shouldn't be hanging out with her." Unsurprisingly, April interrupted me again.

"Yeah. You got that right. You know why? Cause she's in the Foot Clan!!" She yelled louder than she did before, which caused me to flinch at the noise, hoping no one would see me or hear her yelling at me. I tried one more time to reason with her why I was hanging around Venus. Because there is something in her that's unlike Bradford and Xever. There's a chance. There's hope. There's good.
