Has it been a month? YES.
Do I feel bad? YES!
Did I have writer block? Absolutely.
I'm going to be completely transparent, I had no clue how to end the games, I'll be honest. I didn't know how to write it as Katniss and Peeta still being alive in the story after the games. I didn't want to write it where Cato and Clove just had Katniss and Peeta's storyline, cause that would just be stupid. And silly. And the most ridiculous ending to a story ever. (I have read ff about them where this is the ending and I absolutely hate it) So I had to make a way for all four of them to win, and I had to ponder on that for a while. In my defense, I also took a break because of finals and other school things. BTW I did get a 5 in my AP test, still actually in shock. But I'm glad I took the break. However it still took 11 days after school ended for me to get another part out. So sorry bout that. I'm not sure if I like how I wrote it in the end, but oh well.
The real thing I'm curious about is how much longer I should write past the games. I don't really have a want to add them into Catching Fire, because in doing so I would add them into Mockingjay too, and then it would just be so long. I was originally thinking of ending it after their victory tour, and ending it with a happy ending, but now I'm thinking of a different way I could end it. But if you are interested in my writing them into the rest of the series then let me know, but it probably won't happen, because I have other projects I'm working on, or am excited to get started on.
