Tyler's pov

You were waiting anxiously for Nika to pull up to your childhood home and you were so excited for your mom and brother to meet Nika in person finally they've talked on FaceTime multiple times

But this was a big deal Nika was your first girlfriend ever and your family had only ever met one of your other relationships

You see nikas car pull into the drive way and you run out of the front door bounding to her car door

You open it and are engulfed in nikas arm she wraps her arms around your waist bringing you in close

"I missed you so much babe" Nika says into your hair

You love how nikas just a little bit taller than you

"I can't believe you actually drove all the way here for me" you say shocked

Nika kisses your forehead

"I'm your girlfriend baby I would drive anywhere for you now let's go in it's time for me to give your mom a proper hug" Nika says

You grab her hand leading her up the steps to your front door

Once inside your mom sees Nika and comes over

"Nika dear it's so nice to finally meet you in person" your mom says

Nika pulls your mom in for a hug

You see how happy your mom gets she's a hugger

After getting settled and Nika had officially met everyone Blake came downstairs

Nika greeted him with a hand shake you couldn't hear what they said but they ended with a hug and Nika came and sat back next to you on the couch kissing you on the cheek

"I am so glad your here niks" you say leaning your head onto her shoulder while watching tv with the family on the couch

Nika kisses your forehead and then rests her hand on your thigh as you just enjoyed each other's presence

After dinner and tv with the family you and Nika head up to your room for the night

Nika walks around looking at all the baby pictures of you around your room or your stuffed animals

"Ty is this your dad" Nika asks lifting a framed picture towards you asking

You smile softly taking the picture from nikas hands

"Yeah this is my dad and I before he got sick" you say smiling at the looks on your and your dads face

"Your adorable baby he would be so proud of you" Nika says wrapping her arms around your waist kissing your cheek

"Thanks babe you can go shower I know you've had a long day I'll get you a towel and wash cloth" you say walking to grab some for Nika

When you come back you put them in the bathroom on the sink

"Thank you baby" Nika says before you go get ready for bed

Your mom knocks on the door to your bedroom

"Come in" you say softly looking up at the door

"Hi baby are you okay" your mom asks

"Yeah of course mom just tired that all" you say giving her a soft smile

"I'm sorry baby for all the pressure on your" your
Mom sad sadly

"Mom it's not your fault you do so much for us it's okay that I have to take care of the family for a little while" you say softly
