The morning

Tyler's pov

You feel a pounding headache as you wake up groggily you look up to see Nika clinging onto you with her arms wrapped around you and her leg draped over you as well

You sigh in contentment enjoying the warmth of Nika around you

"Mhm Goodmorning baby" Nika says groggily into your ear you feel blush creeping up your face just at her thick Croatian accent it's always so strong in the morning you love it Nika has learned you love it and will even speak Croatian to you knowing you find it so sexy

"You sound so sexy nik" you mumble turning and kissing her collarbone

"Only for you baby" Nika says kissing your temple

You groan feeling your head starting to pound worse

"How much did I drink last night my head is pounding" you say sitting up against the head board

Nika looks up at you seeing the eye bags under your eyes and she gets up off to the kitchen to grab you advil and a bottle of water

She comes back and hands you the bottle of water and advil kissing your forehead softly

"Drink up and take the medicine you'll start to feel better once we get some food into you baby but let's just say you had some fun last night" Nika says softly laughing slightly before remember what yesterday was in importance to you and the anniversary

You pop the pill in your mouth and take a big gulp of water swallowing down the pill while listening to Nika talk

"What day was yesterday" Nika asks softly from the edge of the bed you freeze mid gulp and look at Nika like a deer in headlights

"Why do you ask Nika that's a strange question" you say trying to change the subject

Nika looks at you rolling her eyes

"Tyler your mom texted me last night and told me it was the anniversary of your dads passing so why wouldn't you tell azzi, Paige, or I we wouldn't have made you go out for drinks" Nika says cautiously

You look at her shocked and betrayed

"I just didn't want to mess up y'all's night you wanted to go out so I went with you Nika he's been Gone for years now so it's just different" you say

Nika sits down in front of you and holds your hands gently kissing them both softly you sigh softly before continuing to speak about your dad

"On the anniversary of his death I tend to feel hate toward my dad and I never like how I feel because I love my dad and it's not his fault that he got ill but I blame him for having to grow up so soon and always feeling an immense pressure on my shoulders because I couldn't keep watching my mom killing herself night after night day after day working crazy hours and taking care of her three young children" you say tears falling down slowly

Nika grabs your chin gently forcing you to look up at her and when you finally do you see nikas teary eyes looking back towards you

"Baby your dad is so proud of you I mean Ty your probably the strongest person I know and you always take care of others before yourself if he was here right now I would thank him for bringing you into this world my beautiful girl" Nika says softly sniffling tears falling down her face

You cry even more at nikas words how did you deserve this sweet and beautiful girl

Nika pulls you into a hug pulling you to sit in her lap

There's a knock at your apartment door soon after

You open the door to be greeted by azzi and Paige both carrying gifts

Once they out the gifts down they both take turns pulling you in for a hug

Azzi bought you tulips your favorite flowers your guessing Nika told her they were your favorite

Paige bought you a big weighted blanket

You all ended up watching conjuring all cuddled up on the couch before your pizzas arrive

I know it's been a little while so here's a short filler chapter hope y'all enjoy I was trying to add pictures to this chapter but it didn't let me but also on another note Kate Martin and her girlfriend are such a stunning couple like what the fuck they are both gorgeous
