Tyler is at UConn to go to school and play basketball but she just keeps getting distracted by a certain brunette and what confuses her the most she can't ever seem to get the Croatian out of her mind
Having the weekend with Nika in your childhood home was like nothing you've ever imagined getting to see her bond with your mom and brothers truly made you feel like you had made the right decision when you chose to go to UConn because now your dating your beautiful girlfriend and you wouldn't change it for the world
But sadly the weekend has come to an end and having Nika there to support you during the funeral was such a big help because you didn't have to take it on your own she was there whenever you needed to talk or just sit in silence with your feeling
The drive back to UConn was rather funny because you drove behind Nika the whole way back it was nice having Nika there when you'd stop to get gas or food not having to travel completely by yourself was very nice you had to say
Your mom was very sad you short visit was over already and that you and Nika both had to leave but you were so excited to be back with the rest of the girls and you were excited to finally be able to play again and you weren't gonna lie it was so nice to have your own apartment because Nika could come over and it would just be you and Nika in peace
"Tyler babe" Nika yells entering your apartment
She looks around thinking you'd have responded back already so she looks around confused
When she finally finds her answer as she sees Tyler sound asleep passed out in her bed didn't even have time to change out of her practice clothes before she fell asleep Nika carefully takes off Tyler's glasses and shoes off before she carefully repositioned Ty so her head was on her pillow and pulled the cover over her to keep her warm
Nika sits on the bed side the sleeping form of Tyler and brushes the hair out of her sleeping face leaning down to kiss her temple before turning off the light and leaving to go back to her apartment
Very short chapter just wanted to give y'all something to read hope you like it a longer chapter coming real soon
