Abhishek feels the bed dip. "Hey bro, how ya feeling?"

Karan leans over Abhishek trying to get a look at his face and feel his forehead. He parts Abhishek's hair, to feel the hot skin there and sighs. "Still hot, huh?"

"Still cold, too."Abhishek croaks, and snuggles deeper in the covers, his body shaking with chills, trying to be as warm as possible under the mountain of blankets. He was sort of delirious and had forgotten karan was still there until he heard his voice again.

"Abhishek, you need to eat! I brought you some soup. Here." Karan nudges him to get him to sit up. Abhi groans but obliges--or else karan will annoy him even further.
"I hate this." Abhi pouts and karan laughs.

Karan:-"Nobody likes getting sick bro. Fevers suck but if you eat this soup, drink your medicine and rest, then you'll be good as new." He smiles before placing a pillow on abhishek's lap and hands him the soup. There were some black pepper powder in it which made it a thousand times better.

Karan grins as abhi takes little sips before speaking up again." So...you're gonna tell me who this Manisha is? "

Abhishek nearly spits out the soup but manages to swallow and coughs, spilling some onto the pillow. "Karan?! W-what?! How-what?"

Karan:-"You were kinda mumbling stuff in your sleep and said a girl's name...Is there someone you'd like to tell me about?" Karan tilts his head, raising an eyebrow.

Abhishek looks away and focuses his attention to the soup. "Umm, you know, this is a really delicious soup. When did you learn how to cook? "

Karan:-"I will let that slide because you're sick and it is a fact that Aman has been teaching me, so stop deflecting and tell me about this mystery girl."

Abhishek sighs and shoves the soup in his mouth to buy himself some time. Truthfully, he wasn't so much upset that he was sick, but that he couldn't go to work. What if Manisha had gone back
and he wasn't there?... or he hopes she would. He was serious about being friends and getting to know her. She seemed like a good soul.

And she was beyond cute. He was itching to take her picture while she was sleeping but
that would've been super wierd. He decided against it but did remember how her cheeks
puffed up while she slept.

But he also related to her--passing out as a result of exhaustion. He wanted nothing else but to find a blanket to tuck her in, make sure she was comfy. He watched her belongings like a hawk.

It's been two days and he was dying to go back to work.

Karan nudges abhi's leg. "Come on, tell me."
Abhishek rolls his eyes, and takes a spoonful of his soup to wash down the soup. "She's a girl I
met at work. Super cute, super pretty, super kind and I know what you're gonna say, Abhishek you just met this girl and you already have the hots for her? Well, yes, karan. I wanna get to
know her from her favorite color to what kind of wedding she wants but I'm certainly not gonna ask that. Don't wanna scare her. "
Abhishek brushes a hand through his hair, scratching his scalp.
He needs a shower. Stat.

Karan only grins and shakes his head. "I'm quite used to you pining over a girl. The thing I wanna know is, will you actually do something or think it's a lost cause again?"
Abhishek smiles, thinking back to how he was shamelessly flirting with this girl. "Actually, I kinda wanna thank you. For giving me encouragement to take initiative but it was easy to... be friendly and flirt with her. It was...natural and felt great. Karan, what if she's..." Abhishek
lowers his voice, afraid to speak it into existence. "What if she's...the one."
Karan shrugs. "Who knows? Could be? Or not. Time will tell and how compatible she in
guys are. . She'd be so lucky to be with a guy like you. As opposed to the
bunch of douchebags out there, you'd treat her right. Like a princess."
