Walking through the lobby, I glanced at the watch on my wrist. It was eight o'clock at night, and once again, I was late. Thank God no one had scolded me today. How could they? No one dared to go against my so-called husband, not even me.

Earlier today, Navya had told me about a job opportunity at a hotel. She had spoken to the managers, and I could start working there from tomorrow. The biggest problem, however, was the timing, and for that, I needed permission from the psycho.

As I made my way to my room through the lobby, I spotted Vivian sitting in the lawn, discussing something with Raj and Rahul. He was dressed in a white shirt and black pants, with the top three buttons of his shirt undone. I couldn't take my eyes off him; I was staring wide-eyed, mesmerized by the aura of danger and command he exuded.

Vivian, sensing someone watching him, glanced around and caught sight of me standing in the lobby. Our eyes met, and a jolt of electricity shot through me. I quickly turned away, rushing into my room, my heart pounding.

Inside my room,

I paced back and forth, unable to shake off the image of him. I tilted my head, trying to get a better view of Vivian from door, staring intently at him. His presence was magnetic, a blend of dark allure and raw power. His blue eyes, like the ocean, were deep and inviting, yet at the same time, held a darkness that was impossible to ignore.

Suddenly, a voice behind me said, "Oh, so now you're ogling my brother?"

Startled, I turned around to see Vedant standing there. Straightening up, I said, "Vedant, you scared me! Who does that?"

Laughing, Vedant replied, "Who else but me?"

I responded, "Yeah, I know, no one else in this house would pull such a stunt, Vedant."

Vedant asked, "So, why were you tilting your head like that? They'll look upside down if you do that."

I said, "I wasn't staring at him out of interest, okay?"

Vedant quipped, "Then you must have been looking at Raj and Rahul?"

Slightly shouting, I retorted, "Stop talking nonsense! Why would I be looking at them?"
