How wonderful it is to finally have a break after such a long time. Today, I finally got some time off. After my exams, I decided to take skill development classes, and today those classes ended. From now on, I'm free. Besides my job at the office and occasional visits to the bar, I plan to spend my free time improving my singing.
Singing has always been a passion of mine. I love to sing, and if I had a better life, maybe I wouldn't be here today. I always wanted to become a singer, but life's challenges never allowed me to pursue this dream fully. Deep down, I know this dream will probably remain just that-a dream.
I walked into the bar and saw Navya and Sameer sitting together. I made my way over and sat down next to Navya.
"What are you doing here, Navya? You said you were going to meet Riya," I asked, genuinely curious.
"Riya has been missing for the past two days, so I came to ask Sameer if he knew anything," Navya replied, glancing at Sameer.
Sameer turned to me and asked, "Why didn't you come to the bar yesterday, Aarini?"
"Actually, there was a problem at the office yesterday, so I was busy dealing with that," I explained.
Turning back to Navya, I asked, "But Navya, why would you ask Sameer about Riya? What would he know about her?"
Navya smiled at Sameer and said, "Who else would know about Riya if not Sameer?"
Navya's words felt strange to me. Sameer and Riya had only met recently, so how could he know much about her already?
Just then, I saw Riya approaching us. As soon as Sameer saw her, he stood up and left. That was really odd.
Navya immediately started teasing Riya, "So, Riya, how have your nights been?"
Riya snapped back, "Cut the crap, Navya. I know Sameer told you everything. But forget that, why did you call me here?"
Before they could process their conversation, I interjected, "What are you two talking about? What did Sameer tell you?"
Navya started to say, "Well, Riya and Sameer, they are... you know...(Wo -Wo)"
Frustrated, I asked, "What do you mean 'they are... you know(Wo-Wo)'?"
Navya rolled her eyes and said, "Aarini, will you always remain a child? Come on, understand that Riya and Sameer are..."
Growing more frustrated, I repeated, "What do you mean 'they are...(Wo -Wo)'?"
