The car came to a halt in front of a luxurious hotel, and I found myself gazing around in awe. While Kaden and Rahul went inside to book the rooms, I sat quietly in the car, my thoughts still tangled in the chaos of the evening. The rain had slowed to a drizzle, the droplets gently tapping against the car window, mirroring the turmoil within me.

Suddenly, the car door swung open, and Vivian, without a word, stepped out. He took off his black blazer and, in one swift motion, draped it over me before lifting me into his arms. I didn't resist. I couldn't. There was a certain calm in his strong, secure grip that I couldn't explain. He carried me inside the hotel, his presence commanding attention. The grand lobby was full of suited staff, and the moment they saw Vivian walk in, a hush fell over the room. People stared, and I noticed the girls couldn't take their eyes off him. But Vivian seemed oblivious, his focus solely on me.

He walked straight to the lift, accompanied by managers and guards, and we ascended to the room that had been booked for us. As the elevator doors opened, Kaden swiped the keycard and unlocked the door.

Vivian carried me inside and gently placed me on the sofa. As he tossed his phone onto the bed, he turned to the managers and said, "Bring my extra clothes and laptop from the car."

While he was busy giving instructions, I took a moment to take in the room. It was stunning-a honeymoon suite. Small, warm lights adorned the room, casting a soft glow on the rose petals arranged in a heart shape on the bed. Even the glass table in front of the sofa was decorated with roses. The room exuded romance, an atmosphere I hadn't anticipated.

I stared at the surroundings in disbelief. This can't be real, I thought. But it was the ringing phone that snapped me back to reality. The sound pierced the air, dragging my attention away from the roses. I got up from the sofa and walked over to the bed, where Vivian's phone was buzzing. When I looked at the screen, a strange, unsettling feeling washed over me.

The name flashing on the screen was Kanchi.

Before I could process what I was seeing, Vivian appeared, having locked the door. He snatched the phone from my hand and answered the call, his expression unreadable.
