As the evening sun set over the beautiful Texas hills, Natalie Sterling was in her room putting on her outfit for prom. A turquoise dress that was just above her ankles with a slit up her hip and silver glittering heels. As Natalie stood in the bathroom mirror finishing up her makeup, she heard her cellphone ringing. She looked at the caller ID and saw it was her friend, Roxanne. "Hey!" Natalie answered cheerfully. "Hey can I borrow one of your purses for prom tonight? Mine's torn," Roxanne asked rather urgently. "Um, sure. I don't mind. Just return it to me on Monday," Natalie said, spraying on her favorite perfume. She just knew her boyfriend, Jasper, would love the way she looked. "Oh, thank you Nate. You're a lifesaver," Roxanne said, thankful. Natalie giggled. "I'll see you in a minute." Natalie grabbed her purse and one for Roxanne, then started walking outside. "I'm on your street," Roxanne said. Natalie hung up and put her phone in her purse and climbed in Roxanne's car when she pulled up. Then they left for the prom where they would meet their boyfriends for a night of fun and love. Or so they thought.
