After the ceremony, the two cut a beautiful three layer red velvet cake. George stood behind her and helped bring the knife down through the layers. He swiped some of the white icing and wiped it on her chin. She giggled and put some on his nose. "Alright, that's enough, love birds!" Lucy said through a chuckle. George looked at Natalie, covered in icing. "What?" She giggled. "Is something wrong?" She asked. "Nothing. I'm just enjoying the moment," George said with a smile spreading ear to ear. Natalie smiled and couldn't help but feel like the luckiest woman in the universe. Joy walked over to the two at the banquet table. "Honey, time to toss the flowers," she said to Natalie. "Alright, Mama." She kissed George's cheek. "I'll be right back," she said before wiping the icing off her face and leaving with Joy. As George watched, Vance walked up beside him. "Congratulations, Bubba! This is the best day of your life," he said. "Well, so far, anyways," Vance said, looking back at George. "The day you become a father is the best you will ever have," he explained, motioning to Natalie, who was tossing the flowers behind her to a crowd of women. Roxanne jumped up and snatched the bouquet. Natalie walked back over to George and Vance. "I'll leave you two be," he said, patting George's shoulder and walking away. "Let's dance!" George said excitedly. He led her out to the patio where the chairs had been cleared away from the ceremony to make a dance floor. On the patio, Dale and Roxanne were dancing to a Garth Brooks song as they watched George and Natalie walk out onto the dance floor. "I'll be right back," Dale said. "Be quick," Roxanne said with a smile. As Natalie and George began dancing, the last of the current song played and a slow country song began playing. Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn. George looked over at the DJ and saw Dale walking away, giving him a thumbs up. As the song began, George and Natalie held each other close and began dancing just how they did when they first met, gliding across the dance floor. It felt as if God himself had shined a light on them from Heaven. That's what this feeling is, Natalie thought as she continued to dance. Heaven. They continued to glide across the dance floor under the gaze of the full moon and their family and friends. Life had never been better. Could it get better than this? George and Natalie would find out soon enough.
