"I fucking hate him. He's so fucking stupid." I thought, leaning against a wall in the treasure room, glaring Lukas down as he talked to Jessica. "One of these days I'll beat his ass." I thought to myself again. "Hey, Axel!" A voice replied cheerfully. I turned around, seeing Jesse waving joyously, walking towards me.

"Oh. Hey, Jesse." I answered, staring daggers into Lukas, deep in thought. Jesse's eyes followed to where my gaze was directed at, his smile faltering, looking back at me. "C'mon, give him a chance! He's a good guy." Jesse persuaded me. It didn't help that my bestest and closest friend, Jesse, was dating that dickhead.

I scoffed. "Oh, please!" I groaned in an irritated tone. "He's an asshole" I added. "He's not like the others." Jesse budged in. "I don't buy that for a second." I said while rolling my eyes. "Just be nice to him, please?" Jesse bargained. I groaned in annoyance, sitting up. "Fine, I'll try." I sighed. "Great! Now, talk to him." Jesse replied cheerfully, gesturing over to Lukas. I looked at Jesse, clearly not excited.

"Really? Your practically telling me to kill myself here."

"AXEL!" Jesse said through gritted teeth. "Alright, alright, I'll-- TALK-- with him." I glared, walking over to where Lukas was after Jessica left. Lukas's smile immediately changed to an irritated expression as I walked over. I feel like he had that same talk with Jesse, too.

"Sup, Axel." He replied blandly, not in the welcoming tone he greets others with. "Sup, Lukas." I sneered mockingly, glaring him down. He sighed and put his journal back into his inventory, and his quill in his hair. "So," Lukas began awkwardly. "What's brings you here?" He continued, tapping his foot impatiently.

"Nothing, just a friendly chat." I answered irritatedly, hands in my pockets as Lukas's arms were crossed. "Hm." He mumbled. "How,- nice- of you." He added, glaring me down too, a smug expression on his face. "Yeah, guess I'm feeling- generous- today." I snapped, staring daggers into him.

We both stared each other down. We didn't have the 'bestest'  relationship with each other. "OKAY!" Jesse interrupted, pushing me and Lukas away from each other. "How about we DON’T give each other death stares like we're going to kill each other." Jesse chuckled nervously. Lukas's gaze softened as he looked at Jesse, toughening back when at me.

"Fine by-" "Me." I interrupted, continously staring him down. "As long as Axel does THREATEN ME AGAIN." Lukas snapped, pissed off. I scoffed. "As long as you stop being a dickhead." Lukas squinted his eyes at me, that smug expression still present. "Well that plan failed." Jesse sighed under his breath.

"How about we do this another day, OKAY!?"  Jesse suggested, giving me and Lukas a worried yet irritated look. "Gladly." Lukas replied, walking away. I clenched my fists, walking away too, enraged. "Motherfucking asshole." I grumbled.
