Over the next few days, mingi returns to school, but he keeps getting distracted by the thoughts in his head. He cannot stop thinking about what happened with Yunho that day, and what makes it worse, is that everytime he sees Yunho in school, he feels like a pervert that's stalking an innocent girl.
He cannot look at Yunho in the eye, nor can he be in the same room with him alone. Little by little, he increases the distance between them.At least until I can sort out my feelings, mingi says to himself.
Hongjoong and mingi are having lunch together one day when hongjoong brings up a heartstopping topic.
"Seonghwa and I...we are thinking about you know, going one step further in our relationship," he reveals, stammering over his words.
"Dude, you aren't obliged to tell me that. Don't make yourself uncomfortable because of this," mingi replies. Deep down, his heart is throbbing.
"I know, I just feel like I should tell someone."
"Are you prepared for it?"
Hongjoong nods. The stark difference between him and mingi is that hongjoong has no shame, no filter. If he wants to do something or say something, he will say it straightforwardly.
"Well I have no experience in that so I can't give you any advice. Just be careful, don't let him break your legs, and use protec-"
Hongjoong slaps a hand over mingi's mouth. "Can you not say that so loudly???" He whispers.
"Sorry."
Mingi throws away half of his lunch after their conversation.

One rainy night after academy class, Yunho suggests that they get dinner together. Hongjoong and seonghwa agree, but mingi says he's tired and wants to go home first."Another time then, I'm a little tired too-"
Mingi interrupts Yunho: "nah you guys go ahead. Don't worry about me." He waves to the rest, holding up an umbrella before walking down the footpath to the bus stop.
"Uhh did you guys fight or something? Lately, mingi's been acting a little strange," hongjoong points out, scratching the back of his head.
"I'm not sure...I don't know if I did something wrong." Yunho admits. He's genuinely worried that mingi is upset with him and he keeps trying to find the right time to talk to mingi, only for him to escape everytime.
"Go, talk to him. We'll wait for you at the restaurant." Seonghwa says.
Yunho nods, opening his umbrella and heading in the same direction mingi went. When he reaches the bus stop, mingi isn't there. Maybe he already got on the bus?
Just then the bus pulls over at the stop, the doors open, one person alights, but no one gets in. Bus intervals are at least 30 minutes at this time of the night, so there's no way mingi's not still here. Panic settles in as he looks around the area, there's no one else in sight, just him and the rain that strikes the umbrella with loud patter sounds. "Mingi-ya! Where are you?" He calls out, hoping for a response, but nothing. He whips out his phone and dials mingi's number, no answer. He calls again, still no answer. As a last resort, he calls hongjoong for help.
"Hongjoong-ah, I can't find mingi. He's not at the bus stop- or..or anywhere..I can't find him please help me!!"
"We're on our way."
