The sunshine kissed the stained roofs,
And the dogs were the first to rise,
With barks and sniffs the little angles,
Woke them all by surprise. His father laid at his old chair,
With his old newspaper and tea.
And all day through he sat there,
And read on endlessly. The piano tune played on and on,
With grim notes of aghast.
And spoke about her hideous pain,
She could never get past. His guards knocked at the door,
And he took what they supplied.
Soon, they were paid and dismissed
As noone was allowed inside. They spent the time with indoor games,
As noone spoke or moved,
But they all talked in his letters ,
And had their demands approved. The mansion had a clandestine story,
When the moon decayed the morning's glory.
The sun saw their smiles but when the stars peep,
He stepped out of his beautifully insane sleep. The piano played slightly heavier tones,
And his sister reduced to skeletal bones.
About six months of body decay,
Because from her, he couldn't part away. The dogs slept at her feet, waiting to be fed,
But at night when reality stroke, they were all long dead.
The sun came down with his delusive air,
He inhaled agony and exhaled despair. His father's glasses fell off one night
And charred himself to death.
But as he screamed, burned and died.
He thought the corpse drew breath. The stale darkness lingered with secret steps,
And none of the world could see,
Behind the walls of the cursed mansion,
Lived death carelessly.
