I get Fire Bombed

As I returned to my room in the Coliseum, a Medic Awaited for me, along with a new batch of fresh new clothes, and thanks to magic, al the different burns in my body didn't need surgery, instead just a few minutes of concentration and healing spells.

-Right, I have begun the healing process, it should take a while though.- The Medic said to me. -Stay put until your next match and try to not get burned again.-

-I can't promise that.- I replied to her. -I feel like there's some higher force forcing me to get injured.-

"That's nonsense, no one is doing that" I heard inside my head. "That's just your imagination."

Whatever that voice was, it seemed really convincing, and so, I decided to watch the next matches, as Sadie managed to quickly win against her opponent despite having less magical knowledge, which was a surprise, but also very boring, as Sadie kept lifting barriers and following it with Order spells. Afterwards it was Anatoly's matchup.

-On one side we have 6'3, 140 Pounds, 4th Year Student from St. Petersburg, Russia, Anatoly Skarkov!- The Announcer said enthusiastically. -And in the other side, at 5'7, 78 Pounds, 3rd Year Student from Mobile Alabama, Carter Dawson!-

They started to trash talk each other until the referee separated them, after waiting for a bit he started the match, and saying that it was short would be an understatement, as Anatoly immediately cast a Fireball followed by another explosive spell that I didn't recognize and Carter was knocked unconscious, the camera cut to the teachers, who were all shaking their heads in disapproval for Anatoly, who didn't give a single damn and just showed himself off to the crowd, who loved it, including Laguna, who despite making the rules didn't see any issue with attempted murder, he was quickly forced down by Helena and Mrs. Wallace.

The next match was gonna be Janko's, and I was looking forward to see what he could do, as out of our little group Janko was by far the smartest person, and unlike me, he didn't misspell anything.

-We now go to Swordsmanship! On one side, the at 5'9, 90 Pounds, 1st Year Sensation from Espoo Finland, the Ice Man! Janko Kankkunen!- The Announcer said enthusiastically. -And on the other side, also 1st Year, at 5'5, 70 Pounds, from Belfast, Maine! Aldric Hawthorne!-

They did the exact opposite of Anatoly and Carter, just shaking their hands respectfully, told something to each other, probably something along the lines of 'Let's just finish this, I want to sleep.' and then went back to their positions, the judge then declared the match to be started, and they immediately rushed to each other, clashing the wooden swords with immense speed and strength, at least for their age, it seemed very balanced of a fight, but Janko had more speed and agility on his moves, and it was clear that Aldric could only counter Janko,never being on the offensive.

-Blaze Sword!- Aldric chanted, sending a crescent fire towards Janko, who managed to evade most of the attack, but still but burned a bit. -Geyser Strike!-

A column of water, probably hot went towards Janko, who could only go backwards to avoid being hit, leaving him in a bit of a disadvantage as Aldric could keep casting, and due to the very odd and specific rules that Laguna made, you weren't allowed to create barriers in sword fights, so Janko had to improvise, and improvise he did, as he branded his sword, its blade glowing a blueish white and sparking with electricity, soon after an avatar of a Giant guy with a beard holding a Lightning Bolt appeared.

-Divine Calamity: Judgement of Zeus.- Janko cast, swinging his sword towards Aldric, as Lighting Bolts began to fall in sequence, making a path towards him, finally ending with a Thunder strike so loud that I heard it loud as a gunshot from my room, which also trembled, I immediately felt bad for Aldric, hoping that he managed to survive that Lightning Strike, a bit after the strike it began to rain in the Coliseum, the medics came soon and assured everyone that Aldric was in fact alive and due to this, Janko was declared the Winner despite his immense overkill.
