34. I Am Here

Masterbaiter sent out a long wire in an attempt to trip Kiyoshi. However, Kiyoshi was on his toes. He grabbed the fishing wire and with a loud cry, threw him over. Masterbaiter, while midair, sent another line at Kiyoshi. It wrapped around his left arm and once landing on his feet, tightened. Right after, Strawberry Shades attacked.

        A large strawberry seed flies at Kiyoshi. Using his free hand, Kiyoshi cleanly sliced it in half with his bone blade. As the halves tumbled to the ground, Corvade appeared. She jabbed her sturdy baton into his throat, causing him to spit. Then with a swift kick of her right leg, she sent him flying back.

        Kiyoshi flew as the rooftop shook. Crashing into the ground, the dust settled to reveal the outline of his body. A chunk of cement zipped at him. He dodged it quickly moving his head before getting smacked by Dad, who had switched places with it. His body skids back with the sound of his shoes screeching on the floor.

        Coming up from behind was Static. Jumping onto him, she squeezed his right arm. Seeing her hands begin to glow, Kiyoshi jabbed his right blade into her. However, I was sprinting over and using my Quirk, I made him miss. Shortly after, Furutani slams her foot on his right arm's shadow, preventing it from moving further. Kiyoshi continued to shake Static off, but she had a monster grip.

        "You are nothing but a pretend hero! Learn your place and stay down!" he bellowed.

        A fishing line wrapped around his waist and left arm, sealing him in his place. He continued to try to break free, the fire in his expression growing hotter.

        A weary smirk appeared on the vigilante's lip. "Mr. Boner, don't you know that a great man once said that as long as you believe in yourself, you can become a hero?" she spoke.

        Strawberry Shades and Corvade were quickly closing in. Holding up his right fist that had a seed formed on it, Strawberry Shades slugged Kiyoshi in the face causing the layer of bone to shatter. With his other fist, he hit him again.

        "That's right! And with that courage, we will turn that into power!" Strawberry Shades exclaimed.

        Static pressed her heels on Kiyoshi's body and leaped off of him. Corvade dashed in and raised her baton. Kiyoshi tried to swing her away but feeling the effects of Static's Quirk, was unable to. She scored a direct blow to his arm. He let out a cry as all the armor on his left arm shattered. With the twist of his body, he spun and broke free of his restraints. With a strong punch, he hit Corvade in the shoulder. Before he could inflict more damage, Masterbaiter restrains him again. Kiyoshi tried to break free as the lines tightened around his body. Blood began to seep from his skin as he moved.

        "Now's our chance! Attack before he regenerates!" Dad called.

        He didn't have to say it twice. Strawberry Shades, Static, Furutani, and Corvade jumped into action. Even I joined in. Flinging my boomerang, it whisked and slammed into Kiyoshi. It ignited just as a seed flew into him. Upon making contact, the electrical charges from my weapon set the seed on fire. His white shirt charred black and he grunted.

        Corvade pulled out her grappling hook and sent it at Kiyoshi. Latching onto his shoulder, she zipped at him and kneed his nose. Blood spurted from his nostril, and circling him, she knocked him down to the floor. Static leaped onto him and began to use her Quirk again. Meanwhile, Furutani helped Masterbaiter keep him restrained.

        "Your organization is in shambles and the heroes are on their way. Once they get here, you're never stepping foot outside ever again. You're finished," Corvade said.

        A low chuckle came from Kiyoshi who slowly ascended into full-blown laughter. Although he was restrained, I couldn't help but feel a cold shiver run up my spine.
