"A brash young woman who enjoys provoking others. Her loud voice is an immediate siren for law enforcement, but she always escapes their clutches making sure to always make a smug remark. Many people find her annoying, but her spunky charm tends to change their minds (temporarily). Irresponsible and proud, she's usually not the voice of reason in a situation. Although she may seem unreliable, she's smarter than she lets on."

Out of all the vigilante designs, she's my favorite. I created Static and Masterbaiter because I thought it'd be funny if the people who's supposed to be saving others are too busy arguing with each other. I think her interactions with Masterbaiter are fun to write. One thing that surprised me was her dynamic with Strawberry Shades. Out of the vigilantes, they def have the friendliest relationship. Although she and Mitsume haven't interacted much, they'd prob be friends too. I want to expand on her relationships with them two (and everyone else) in the sequel!

"His short-fuse often paints him as a thug, and he's notorious for violent outbursts. Most people don't recognize him as a crime-fighter until they actually see him fight crime. People came to the conclusion that he became a vigilante to spite hero society. Others say the reason why he's one is because he hates villains more than he hates heroes. Behind his rugged exterior is a man who wants to do good, despite his questionable actions.

As I said in Static's section, I created MB to fill a specific character dynamic. I made him somewhat of a foil to Static which is why they fight so much. I also made him have a small crush on Rin's mom because I thought it'd be silly XD

Anyway, his design changed drastically from the 1st version of the story. Him wearing a tengai and more Japanese-inspired clothing is a nod to his civilian life. (Good luck figuring that out!)

"Mitsume's a cheery and lighthearted fellow who always wears a smile on his face

"Mitsume's a cheery and lighthearted fellow who always wears a smile on his face...even during inappropriate times. His habit of popping out of thin air often catches people off guard. While a crime-fighter, he also commits crime--usually theft--in the process so no one really knows where he lies: hero, vigilante, or villain. One thing's for sure is that he's a nice guy. He's often seen at the internet cafe playing video games or at the park playing with children."

I made him so Rin could have a friend that's close in age. I think he's swell. He's become one of my favorites... Maybe it's because he's fun to draw and write. He's kind of a strange case: he's not completely a vigilante and he isn't completely a villian either, but that makes him fun.

He didn't have a lot of screen-time (or story-time?) in this book, but he'll def have more in the upcoming one. Everyone will, so I'm excited for that!!
