Twenty-two

Lilly's pov

"So what's my reward?" He asked as i smiled handing him five stacks of cash.

He looks at me hesitantly grabbing them.

"Take it or i'll never speak to you again." I said. He thanks me for smiling but looks at it still hesitantly as a black car stops in front of us.

"I got you a Uber." I said as he smiles.

"Thank you, Deer. I'll see you on Monday." He says as I nod smiling, Before he walks away he hugs me I hug him back wrapping my arms around.

I walk away at the car leaves.

Arriving in my room I walk towards my closet pulling out white dress.

"Five more months then I can finally wear you." I spoke a smile on my face, this will be the outfit I will wear on the night of my birthday.

Putting it back I walk towards my dresser opening the top one, I grab a plastic clear bag and open it grabbing one needle, the whole bag is full of needles as they're already.

Walking towards my bed I sit down as I pull down my arm sleeves on my right arm. Sticking the needle in my arm as I close my eyes, the drug going into my system. Once its all in I wait for five minutes.

Opening my eyes i see a black snake on the floor, going onto the floor I get on my knees my face close to its face.

"Whoa." I said looking at it's black eyes the side of the eyes are red.

Sweat covering my forehead.

"I want you as my pet snake. Will you be my pet snake?" I asked, my eyes lids a little closing.

As crazy as it seems he nods!

I gasp my eyes widen. "You nodded!?" I shout as I burp, I slap my hand over my mouth.

Waving my hand at the snakes face. "I - I'm am dearly sorry, i- i'm well - what's the word again?" I said as I scratch my head pausing.

"Ah, I'm actually well matter." I said nodding.

My eyes widened. "In five months it'll be my birthday, you are welcome to join." I said smiling.

I look away for a moment, looking at my new pet snake as i crunch my eyes.

"Snake, where'd you go?" I asked.

"You don't have to go to my birthday party." I said crawling towards the bed looking under it.

He's not there sitting down my eyes widen as I gasp.

"Are you invisible? I see, we're gonna play hide and seek." I said standing up.

I walk towards my room, raising my arm to open the door my eyes widen.

"A needle on my arm! I'm going to die!" I shout.

I grab the needle throwing it.

"I need to find snake." I said to myself.

Getting on my knees I crawled.

"Snake!" I shout looking around.

"If I was a snake where would I be?" I asked myself tilting my head.

'Outside.' I thought.

Getting up I walk outside in the backyard.

Closing the door behind me I look around.

"Maybe if I lay down he'll come?"

Laying down in the grass I wait silently.

About ten minutes later I'm then consumed by darkness.
