3rd person pov :
Jungkook's eyes were fixed on the whiskey in his glass, his mind a thousand miles away. Minhyun's sudden reappearance had stirred up emotions he thought he'd long buried.
Why now? Why did Minhyun have to show up on their wedding day, of all days? It was as if fate was taunting him, rubbing salt in the wounds of his past.
He downed his drink in one gulp, feeling the burn all the way to his chest. He needed to get out of there, away from Taehyung's tears and his own guilt.
He grabbed his keys and headed out into the night, driven by a restless energy. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew he needed to escape.
As he drove through the city, the streets blurring together, he found himself at a familiar address. Minhyun's apartment.
His heart raced as he stood outside the door, his hand hesitating over the bell. What was he doing here? What did he want from Minhyun?
Jungkook's heart raced as he stood outside Minhyun's apartment, his hand hesitating over the bell. He took a deep breath and pressed the button.
The door opened, and Minhyun stood before him, his eyes piercing and intense. "Jungkook," he said, his voice low and husky.
"What do you want, Minhyun?" Jungkook asked gruffly, his eyes avoiding Minhyun's gaze.
"I want to talk to you," Minhyun replied, stepping aside to let Jungkook in.
Jungkook hesitated, his mind warning him to stay away. But his curiosity got the better of him. "Fine," he said curtly, entering the apartment.
As they sat down, Jungkook fixed his gaze on Minhyun. "Why did you come back, Minhyun? After all these years, why now?"
Minhyun's eyes narrowed. "I came back for you, Jungkook. I realized I couldn't live without you."
Jungkook's laugh was harsh. "Don't lie to me, Minhyun. We're over. I'm married now."
Minhyun's gaze dropped, his voice barely audible. "I know. But I couldn't help myself. I still love you, Jungkook."
Jungkook's heart twisted, his resolve weakening. But he steeled himself, remembering his vows to Taehyung. "I don't love you, Minhyun. I never will again."
Minhyun's eyes flashed with hope, but Jungkook's words were like a bucket of cold water, dousing his dreams. "I don't love you, Minhyun. I never will again."
But despite his resolve, Jungkook's heart betrayed him. He felt a flutter in his chest, a weakness he thought he'd long overcome. Minhyun's presence was like a siren's call, drawing him back to the past, to the memories they'd shared.
Minhyun's face fell, but he didn't give up. "I know I hurt you, Jungkook. But I've changed. I promise I'll make it right this time."
Jungkook's mind raced, his thoughts torn between the past and the present. Taehyung's beautiful face flashed in his mind, a stark reminder of his vows, his commitments. But Minhyun's eyes, oh, Minhyun's eyes, they still held a power over him, a power he couldn't deny.
"No, Minhyun," Jungkook said finally, his voice firm but his heart wavering. "I'm married now. I have a life with Taehyung. I can't go back to the past."
Minhyun's face twisted in anguish, but Jungkook steeled himself, knowing he had to resist the pull of their history. He couldn't let Minhyun back in, no matter how much his heart still yearned for him.
Jungkook's eyes moistened as he gazed at Minhyun, his heart heavy with emotion. "Minhyun, please... don't come back again. I don't want to hurt Taehyung. I know I don't love this marriage, but he's my husband now. Stay out of my life."
Minhyun's face contorted in anger, but Jungkook stood firm, his resolve unwavering. He knew he couldn't give in to his feelings, no matter how much his heart still ached for Minhyun.
As he turned to leave, Minhyun's words stopped him cold. "I know how to make you mine again, Jungkook. And I will."
Jungkook's heart raced as he walked away, the threat hanging in the air like a challenge.

Back at home, he found Taehyung still on the floor, sleeping fitfully amidst tears. Jungkook's guilt pierced him like a knife, and he gently lifted Taehyung into his arms, cradling him like a bride.
He tucked Taehyung into bed, his eyes avoiding his husband's tear-stained face. He lay down beside him, careful not to touch him, and closed his eyes, his mind reeling with the events of the night.
As he drifted off to sleep, he knew he had to confront his feelings once and for all. He couldn't keep living in this limbo, torn between his past and his present.
But for now, he just slept, his heart heavy with the weight of his secrets.
And on the other side of town, Minhyun's eyes blazed with determination. He would make Jungkook his again, no matter what it took.
