Chapter 27: A Family Affair

3rd person pov :

The Kim and Jeon families gathered at a cozy restaurant, laughter and chatter filling the air. Taehyung's cousin, Moonbyul, couldn't help but steal glances at Jungkook's cousin, Solar. Her secret crush was no secret to Taehyung and Jungkook, who exchanged amused glances.

"Hey, Moo, why are you blushing?" Taehyung teased, winking at Jungkook.

Moonbyul's face turned bright red. "Shut up, Taehyung!"

Jungkook chuckled, nudging Solar playfully. "Looks like someone has a crush, Solar!"

Solar's eyes widened in surprise, but a sly grin spread across his face. "Well, someone's certainly caught my eye."

The families erupted into laughter, the tension broken. Taehyung wrapped his arm around Jungkook's shoulders, pulling him close.

"Looks like love is in the air, Kookie!"

Jungkook rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "You're something else, Baby."

As they sat down to enjoy their meal together, the Kim and Jeon families knew that this was a night to remember – a night filled with love, laughter, and the joy of being together.

As they finished their dinner, the families said their goodbyes, and Taehyung and Jungkook headed to their car. Taehyung hummed the tune of "Wanna Be Yours" as they drove away from the restaurant.

Jungkook's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Hey, Baby, sing it louder!"

Taehyung's face turned beet red. "No, no, no! I'm not singing in public!"

Jungkook teased, "Come on, just a little bit! I love your voice!"

Taehyung playfully rolled his eyes. "You're just trying to embarrass me!"

But Jungkook persisted, his requests turning into playful demands. Taehyung's laughter filled the car as he tried to resist Jungkook's charms.

Their love-filled moment was suddenly interrupted by a loud crash. Their car jerked to the side, and Taehyung's heart raced as he regained control of the wheel.

"Kookie, are you okay?" Taehyung asked, his voice laced with concern.

Jungkook's eyes widened. "What happened? Did we get hit?"

Taehyung's face set in a determined expression. "I'll check. Stay here."

As Taehyung stepped out of the car, Jungkook's heart raced with worry. What had just happened? And was their love strong enough to face whatever challenges lay ahead?

Taehyung stepped out of the car, his eyes scanning the damage. But before he could even process what had happened, another car came barreling around the corner, hitting Taehyung with a sickening thud.

Jungkook's world stopped. His heart ceased to beat. His mind went blank.

"TAEHYUNG!!" Jungkook screamed, his voice echoing through the night.

But there was no response. Taehyung lay motionless on the ground, his body crumpled in an unnatural position.

Jungkook's eyes widened in horror as he leapt out of the car, his legs trembling beneath him.

"NOOOO! TAE!! NOOOO!!"
