Taehyung's eyes slowly opened, his gaze falling on Jungkook's peaceful face. He was sitting next to him, his head resting on the bed, his breathing soft and steady. Taehyung's heart swelled with love as he silently caressed Jungkook's hair.
Jungkook's eyes fluttered open, and he was met with the most beautiful sight - his husband, awake and gazing at him with tears in his eyes. Jungkook's face contorted in a mix of joy and relief as he cried happily.
"Taehyung...oh, baby...I love you so much! Don't ever scare me like this again!" Jungkook's voice cracked as he embraced Taehyung tightly.
Taehyung's eyes welled up, his throat sore, but he managed a soft "I love you, Kookie..." He pecked Jungkook's cheek, his touch sending shivers down Jungkook's spine.
Their intimate moment was interrupted by the burst of energy as their families and Jimin, the current duty doctor, rushed into the room. Jimin enveloped Taehyung in a warm hug. "Oh, my Tae bear! I'm so happy you're finally awake! Your husband suffered these three days without you, always by your bedside like a lost puppy!" Jimin joked, causing everyone to laugh happily.
Taehyung's parents and Jin embraced him, welcoming him back with tears of joy. "Our little fighter is back!" Jin exclaimed, his voice filled with relief.
As the room filled with love and laughter, Taehyung's eyes never left Jungkook's face. He knew that their bond was unbreakable, and he was grateful for a second chance at life - with Jungkook by his side.
