Jungkook and Taehyung put on a mask of happiness as their parents visited their home. They pretended to be the perfect couple, holding hands and exchanging sweet glances.
Their parents were oblivious to the tension between them, and they gushed over how happy they looked together.
"We're so glad to see you both doing well," Jungkook's mother said, beaming with pride. "You make such a lovely couple."
Taehyung's father nodded in agreement. "Yes, you two are meant to be. We're so glad we got to see this day."
Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged a fake smile, their hearts heavy with the secrets they kept from their parents.
Their parents invited them to dinner at their house, and Jungkook and Taehyung accepted, knowing they had to keep up the charade.
As they left their house, Jungkook's mother turned to Taehyung's mother and whispered, "I'm so glad our sons are happy together. They deserve it after all they've been through."
Taehyung's mother smiled and nodded, unaware of the storm brewing beneath the surface.
